Can anyone help me find this floor in engineered (pic included)

Below is a picture of the type of floor I want. Can anyone point me to an engineered product that will give me this look?

So far, I have been turned off of engineered due the 'square' edges of the planks that give it that ultra flat finish. I am looking for a beveled edge. Is there such a thing for engineered boards? If so, can someone point me to a product that will give me a look similar to the picture below. Thank you.

Interesting that you like the bevels: most people don't, since traditional, site finished floors don't have them. That's why the engineered and laminates are trying so hard to create flat surfaces.

The floor in your photo looks like maple or european ash. The Kahrs company makes some great looking engineered:

Can't really nail it down from the picture, but I'd say it's white oak or ash.

It will be very difficult to get an engineered product that will give you the color variation that we see in the pic and the narrow board width as well.

They may be called sconces as well. I saw some at TJ Maxx the other day. You could even buy ones that are not black and just paint spray paint them!

patty Congrats on your remodel I guess I would ask what other elements are in the room? what color appliances, hardware, stools, furnishings, natural light, window treatments,rugs, wall color, lighting etc I can't see the flooring - posting a pic may help Picking a counter is very individual & we all "see" differently You noted a natural tumbled backsplash as likely - I read the TB - as warming up your palette - your cabs are considered cool - so I my initial reaction is I prefer that - I like warm/cool elements but again depends on the rest of the palette & your personal taste The NC reads cool to me - If that is used the rest of the elements should be cool - fabrics, hardware, wall color etc - or you will have colors that are fighting each other - a honed crema marfil backsplash wouldn't work, but a carrara would - tan/beige paints wouldn't work, but blues/greys would Another twist you could consider is having each sample honed & see if that helps to make a decision - that will give you 4 options and also sounds like you have some room to negotiate with the stone yard esp on the TB they want to move - offer 20% discounted pricing on that one if that is the one you would like, even if not, that may help to drive the decision Good luck

I can't believe it, but I saw this rug today! I took a pic and will upload it here. IRL it's gorgeous! I saw it at a store called KPM flooring on Hilton Head Island. They are great. They have the BEST selection of area rugs I've ever seen. Aside from an oriental rug store that only carries oriental rugs. They carry all sorts of styles, AND can have them made up custom. I loved a rug that was 60% wool and 40% silk, and listed at over $12k. The salesman told me that I could have it made up in all wool and reduce the cost. As an aside, While in there I think I found my backsplash - a natural tile mosaic by Jeffrey Court.

I have so many more questions now that you put these new pics up but I'll only ask three. 1. When you get to the glass sliding doors/eat-in area, you turn left to the go to the den? (which is where the t.v. is) 2. In the photo with the dark floors. Are you moving the island further down the room, as well as the cabinetry? (looks like it in the rendering) 3. Are you bumping out the wall to the left of the old island? (looks like it in the rendering) That space in the pic looks bigger than the new kitchen mock up, though I know pictures can be deceptive. The dark floors actually good, but not to your liking, and that's what's important. You want something to lighten up the room more. We can work with that. PS. Answering said questions will not make a difference in any the questions that YOU need answered! Just curious is all. Call me Miss Nosey.... no, don't do that.

I agree with the previous post that Kahrs makes an excellent floor. Kahrs, however, is mostly (if not entirely) installed as a floating floor. Most panels are two or three strip "blocked". The edges are square. Not what you are looking for. Try the Mannington website. They make some very pretty floors in strip and plank and many of them are availabel with beveled edges.

I also find it interesting that you want bevels. Nothing wrong with that, but as stated previously, most folks are going with the flat look.

Actually, Kahrs has a ton of beveled edges, and the only site I know of that allows you to sort according to that criteria: great floors, great website.

I'm guessing that is an oak floor. It also appears to be maybe a lower grade because of the variations. Look at Bruce ... the good or better grades of engineered strip with beveled edges.

Jerry- I have been to the Bruce website. Can't find the specific line of engineered w/ beveled edges. Do you know the name of their line? Thanks.

I used to have a Kahrs engineered floor Linnea I believe. It was so slippery and felt/looked like a sheet of glass. That's one of the reasons I wanted some kind of bevel anyway. I thought the old style traditional wood strips were not square edged. So I'm a little confused.

Thanks everyone for all the responses. I found out that the floor in question is white oak selct. Not sure what the select means or where I can buy something like this.

Sorry, I was thinking about their 3" engineered. Select is a grade... average board length, knots, mineral streaks, color variations.
