First of all, I want to say you have a good taste, Amendiom is a beautiful wood floor. It is a very common question and dilemma for customers in wood flooring sales. I have couple of points to make here. First, most of the Exotic species will still be getting darker with more sun exposure afte installed in your house.Please count the factor in. Secondly,it will be very hard to find that perfect colored natural wood flooring unless you have certain tolerance for some differences between your installed floor and sample board. On the other hand, stained wood colors will be quite much easier to work with since you do not have to expect too much of different grain patterns and color changes. Hope this can be a little help.

Everything you said reinforces what I thought:
1) "Amendiom is a beautiful wood floor" Â ThatÂs how we feel, we fell in love with it. It was our first choice before going out shopping, and still our top choice after visiting a dozen stores.
2) " most of the Exotic species will still be getting darker with more sun exposure afte installed in your house". This is the main concern, that we will end up with dark furniture on dark floors, in an apartment  not a big mansion, so not a lot of room. What is your experience and advice?

Â Actually, is the variation in the wood that we like. We do not want a single colored floor. But we never saw the Amendoim"in person" in a larger scale, just the regular size samples, and pictures.

Will the general Amendoim tone (at installation time and later in time, when it darkens) be too close to the cherry furniture tones?

Another wood that we might consider (need to see it again next week) is the Armstrong Exotic Fusion Maple, in Olive Harvest tone. Any experience with that?

I have to refer best possible colors and styles of wood floorings to our customers everyday in their remodeling. Not try to disappoint you, I like natural Maple or Birch to go with Cherry furniture.
I have to say. Natural Exotic floorings are harder to predict than plain stained wood floorings in design sense due to its color variations and changes.
I believe Fusion Maple is the same as Carbonized Maple. So it can be light, medium or darker brown depending on the cooking time like carbonized Bamboo flooring.

Hi. I have had amendoim flooring in my entire house for about 5 years. Most of my wood furniture is cherry to mahogany stained and the contrast with the flooring is quite nice. I also have area rugs under certain pieces and that contributes to the contrast even more.

My amendoim is in about a year. I have a skylight in the room and sliding glass doors so the room gets a lot of sun. If the floor got darker it's not noticeable. I have an area rug which I removed for a few weeks recently and there wasn't any difference. I think the variation in the amendoim will keep it from blending too much with your cherry furniture. Just my opinion.
