any grey in a dark room is going to make it darker / drabber. have you tried white? it might wind up looking like the grey you want in that light. however, if you have your heart set on actual grey and you can't find what you need from a paint chip, you'll need to go custom. go to a paint store (not lowes or home depot) and ask for color assistance. they'll have a bigger selection of color chips, and you can ask them to make anything lighter for your sample paint.

I like Houssan's idea of dark shutters. Take the color of your roof and keep going many, many shades deeper on the color wheel until you have dark brown shutters. Add a dark orange front door. If you're getting a new roof in a couple of years, then do nothing now. then get a warm brown roof, which will open up possibilities. Do not, do not paint your beautiful blond brick. P.S. May I ask why you are posting your Dilemma again? You got over 30 responses altogether, pretty much admiring of the house and making similar suggestions. If you come back a third time. instead of asking for suggestions, just ask people for approval of the ideas you already have instead of asking for new ideas--waste of time. Sell the house if you're still so negative about it.

Something like this ?? Remember the smaller the tile the busier it will look.. Maybe larger format porcelain marble look would be abetter choice . Marble floors are timeless the actual marble tiles not fake are already 1000s of years old , pretty timeless to me.

The quality of selections also matters. You can not make selections from pictures on a screen. They need to be made from actual physical samples. Or you will have issues with cold grays of Cararra marble clashing with warmer tones of the vanity, and tile. Combo units are never ever good options. Each element should be selected deliberately, and no by default of coming with a selection as if it is a bonus. It isn’t. Shopping disreputable online sellers is not likely to turn out well either.
