any of those or it could be outlet access other than behind the sofa... for about anything. a heating pad, a back massager. in a bedroom as a night stand possibly a clock radio if you don't want it setting on the top (or no room for it). When going to bed, just lower the drawer face, set alarm and go to sleep. in the morning, shut it off, flip the drawer face up - and it's out of site again.

I wonder if it is necessary to apply a strip both at top and bottom, or if one midway along would hold the divider. Excellent point. For us, yes, that was the case -- i.e., top and bottom were required for stability. Though, ours are 10" high drawers holding heavy casserole dishes, pots, pans, etc. Your needs aren't as heavy duty. It was cheaper for DH to purchase his dado set and create his own channels rather than spend the money on the dentil strips. And he'll be using the tools for other projects in the house, so it made sense for us. ^^^ Since it was easy enough for us to do so, we we ahead and installed top and bottom strips. A more cumbersome way to go, but you could purchase those thin strips of wood (found in the craft wood section of HD, I think) and cut them down to size. When you affix a row in the back of your drawer, just leave a gap between pieces: these gaps would serve as your channels. ETA: Poplar strips (1/4" thick) are what I'm thinking of. A 3" x 48" piece cost $3.23 a couple of years ago.

Thank you very much. These look like the right ones. Can you tell me the center to center mounting width. That is screw hole to screw hole, mine are 6-1/2" I'm going to buy these before they disappear anyway.

I have a new KitchenAid combo microwave/oven that was installed last year. (It was purchased to replace the original Kitchenaid combo after the microwave broke.) The bottom of the regular oven is 19” above the floor. The bottom of the pull down door microwave is 44” above the floor. The floor, itself, of the microwave is 47” above the floor when the (13” high) door is open. I am 4’ 10” tall and have no difficulty reaching into the microwave to remove food. I have a 12 1/2” cabinet drawer beneath the entire unit for pots and pans. I hope this help.
