Bona Traffic in satin dry -looking?

My old white oak floors were prepped, then stained with Bona Dri-fast in Early American, then treated with 4 coats of Traffic in satin finish. I am not entirely pleased with the results--the floor does not seem to have any shine at all (I chose satin thinking it would not be matte, but also not as shiny as semi-gloss) and in fact looks kind of dry. Also, the stain looks a bit sreaky in areas. I think it was applied with a machine rather than by hand. Was it the 4 coats of traffic that ruined it, or is this how it's supposed to look? I know 3 coats have been recommended on this site, but my floor guy said he always does 4.
