flooring for a sun room

I recently purchased a 1958 I. M. Pei townhouse (in Chicago in a city neighborhood). It has a sunroom with glass windows that can be pushed aside for screens. This was a later addition to the house and is just off the living room which features a huge window that encompasses almost the entire wall. I am not crazy about the sun room since it eats up half of our tiny yard, but I understand that others might. The problem is the floor which is a horrible green carpet. I want to tear it up and replace it with something, but what?? I don't want to spend a lot since I may still decide to take down the sunroom, but the view of that expanse of mint green carpet ruins is really jaring. Midcentury modern meets grandma's 80s ranch. I believe there is concrete under the carpet. What are the benefits of expoxy vs. stain vs. ??? Or is there a tile that would be ok in this unheated space and would work as a patio if I decided to take down the sunroom?

Any advice would help! Thank you.
