Newbie....Step grandparent

Hi everyone,

I've checked into this great forum occasionally over the last few years, but never participated. I'm hoping everyone here can offer some advice as hubby and I are soon to be Step-Grandparents :)

Our middle son has been with a great lady for a few years and they are getting married this July. She has two children...15(daughter) & 12(son). Fiance is older than our son and they will not be able to have any kids together at this stage of the game.

We've only known the kids since they were around 8 & 11, but have always treated them like "real" GK's and they get treated exactly the same for Christmas/Bdays etc.

I would really love to do something to acknowledge them officially becoming part of our family at the wedding by giving them something to commemorate the union.

Any ideas what I can give to them?

Thanks

Val

Check with your son first before you plan anything at the wedding. Then maybe a picnic after the wedding with invites to meet the rest of the family, etc.
