All of the things you say about them are true. However, the sectional sofa I bought from them is very uncomfortable. The seat cushions are thin and rock-hard. When I complained, their only solution was for me to spend MORE money on replacement cushions. They did give me some free fabric to use in new cushions I could bet made locally, but this all ended up costing a ridiculous amount of money. I could have bought a better sofa for half the price at Pottery Barn.

I own a fabric covered Catnapper recliner that is a queen anne style. I have had it for about 12 years and aside from a little color fade, it looks brand new and sleeps wonderfully ;^)

I'm on my second set also. The first went through three boys and their many buddies. Several of the chairs are still in use 25 years later in our lake cottage. DH and I like to be able to sit at the table for long stretches and still be really comfortable. We tried out a lot of casual dining furniture and ended up ordering another Chromcraft set. This time we sprung for leather with wood pedestals. They make a ton of different chair styles (look at their website) but each furniture store usually sells only a few. I called around to see who had what style #'s then ran around checking for looks and comfort. Then I was able to get bids on the table and chairs in the style and covering of our choice. Quite a difference in prices! We purchased from a old family owned furniture store in a now unfashionable part of downtown. Great price and service. Several years later we are still very happy with the chairs. I may buy a different table due to moving and think a round table may work better for the space. The good thing is that it will be easy to get a coordinating table as their styles do not change frequently.

Their web site looks legit - https://www.umodern.com - but I can't find reviews, and their offer of a price match and free shipping seem too good to be true. Thoughts?
