Leather Sofa in NYC

Looking for a leather sofa to replace the one I currently have had for over a decade. We hate the current sofa, not because it is bad, it has held up just fine but is ugly and frumpy. We are looking for a modern-ish leather sofa with clean lines and looks subdued yet sophisticated and comfortable for lounging and sleeping. Not looking for anything antique or traditional or ultra modern. No metal legs, just wood or hidden legs. NYC is tough to shop for this stuff. We have checked out Pottery Barn, Crate & Barrel, West Elm, Restoration Hardware all of which we weren't impressed by and then places we liked were Stickley Audi, Safavieh, ABC Home, Design Within Reach. The sort of sofa we are looking for:

Design within Reach Reid 86" Sofa

I know all these are quite different, but any of them could work for us.
Has anyone heard of Timothy Oulton? How is their construction and durability?
I know Bradington Young has top notch quality.
Design Within Reach is out of reach for us.
I've heard only bad things about RH quality and service but like the Sorensen - anything similar in other good brands?
What I'm secretly wishing for is the look of the Timothy Oulton Viscount William or RH Sorensen with the comfort, durability and value of Bradington Young.
