I have lately seen a lot of news articles regarding the safety of children and adults on bunk beds. While this is not shocking to me, it was however shocking to see the responses from various people. Understandably, bunk beds can potentially be dangerous as it is a rather large structure. What I found mind boggling is how parents respond to such news that bunk beds can be dangerous.

Safety should have been one of the key factors for parents when purchasing a bunk bed. While there are injuries caused by bunk beds that parents may not have control over, the majority of bunk bed related injuries are due to horse playing in/around bunk beds. I feel that it is the responsibility of the parents to strictly follow all safety standards so that their children do not get injured! Now I am curious as to what people's responses are to this.
