Pottery Barn Queen Anne Chairs - Comfort?

My husband is 6'5" 270 so they need to support him. Thanks I would appreciate any feedback....See MorePottery Barn Connor Chair
Comments (2)Maybe a used one? PB does sell some of their fabrics on their website. Mitchell Gold makes some of their furniture. Here is a link that might be useful: CL Connor Chair...See MorePottery barn slip covered chairs?
Comments (8)I love the lines of the Carlisle, and I would have bought it but its proportions are unusually large and did not work for the room I was furnishing. Compare the dimensions to other chairs and you may find the same. As for off white washable slipcovers, I love them and have been a devotee for years. When we had our first nursery, we had a slipcovered RH sofa in our son's nursery, and later on an armchair and ottoman in a girls room. Now we have a huge L in our great room that is washable off white duck, and a sleeper sofa in our little stonehouse/playhouse. In our experience, the slipcovers wash very well. You can even shout out stains. It is kind of hard work getting them off and putting them back on, but now that I am used to it I almost think upholstered stuff I can't wash is kind of yucky, if YKWIM. It is better to take the slips out when damp, they go on easier that way. I never had the PB ones, mine were either RH or MGBW. But my bet is they are all made in one big factory somewhere anyway! Comments (17)@Runnermom - do you still like your Aiden Swivel chairs? My SO has been trying to get me to order the Irving Roll arm leather chair w nailheads for about a year - for the hearth area in my kitchen. I hadn’t ever bought anything from Pottery Barn before - until about a month ago when I ordered one of their toddler Anywhere Chairs that can be embroidered with the child’s name across the back. That purchase was great - but it was about $140 kid’s chair! My SO is purchasing the chairs - he doesn’t like my rattan furniture (with leather cushions) love seat/chair/ottoman that i currently have in that spot. I don’t use that area really - but he likes watching sports there when my daughter and I are watching something else in the family room (I just cannot get into watching golf on TV - and while I like watching ”my” sports teams play football/basketball - I dont like watching random teams). He brought them up again this past weekend because it was finally cold enough to use the fireplace - he wound up bringing my leather wingback chair/ottoman out of my study and putting it in front of the fireplace. I’ve been selecting bacsically everything we’ve bought so far, so I decided to look at the dimensions to make sure that they’d work in the space. While I liked the width/depth - was surprised about the overall height - seemed short (obviously, much shorter than my windgback chair - which I’ve had for almost 20 years - and still looks great and is super comfy). I am pretty sure that he looked at them in the store - but I dont know how long he sat in them. . . Anyway - he likes the ”look” of PB stuff - so, I thought that maybe I could get him to switch to another PB chair - and I like yours. Thanks!...See Morejmccon2
