In truth, it has been an awful day. Family forgot (what else is new) and my Dilly is at the vets coming out of a biopsy for bone cancer. We thought it might be just a bulging disk or a pinched nerve but the x-rays show significant bone eaten away in his left shoulder. The next 7 days we will wait for results. My nerves are shot, I hate to see him in so much pain.
Oh, Peppi, I sent you an email earlier, Elery had seen your post on Facebook.
I'm hoping and praying that Dilly has some problem that's quickly and easily resolved, and that he's back to his sweet and lovable furry self pronto. Give him an ear scratch from me.
This is wrong, on so many levels. I'll keep both of you in my thoughts, until the results of your baby's biopsy come in. I emailed you. Hang in there, dear heart.
Oh Peppi.....So sorry that your birthday was filled with sadness. I hope they can do something to make little Dilly-Dog comfortable. He is such a sweetie! I remember him cuddling up next to me on your couch!
Birthdays are a non-event around here and The Kid has been known to be a day or two off with her Happy Bday phone call. Do what I do...buy yourself something pretty or a new kitchen gadget :). Happy really-belated Birthday. I do hope your present is good news about Dilly.
