You gotta wonder though, what store would sell a fur coat in the middle of July.....or a fall planted bulb just short of spring when they are ready to pop up. Mad About....fall planted bulbs are put into the ground at that time so they can attain roots....and having roots, can stand up to whatever winter throws at it. Without roots, the bulbs freeze their butts off....and cant survive. Don't ask me why.....but a bulb with roots can stand temperatures as low as 40 below.....that's fahrenheit or Celsius. (its the same anyway) So a bulb put into the ground now...probably...I don't really know...but I'd say a bulb planted now will not have sufficient time to obtain its roots....and will be on the menu for all kinds of mice, squirrels, whathaveya. The daffs....they are toxic so might survive attack. Its a good reason to put daffs close to tulips. Squirrels love tulips.....steak and kidney to them. Kidney? Americans don't use kidney do they. Once asked in Florida...."what do you put in your steak and kidney pie?" "We don't make steak and kidney pie" ....then suggested I use giblets instead. Giblets...indeed. In any case, good luck....you don't really have any other choice except to plant them. They certainly wont last until next fall out of the ground.

A primer plus one coat of paint is the same thing as two coats of washable paint. Of course, this depends on the quality of the primer. A crappy primer that doesn't seal very well doesn't count as a first coat or a primer so you will need to apply two coats of washable finish paint over that to get the professional look. I don't even mess around anymore with trying to sell customers on the prime plus two coats system unless it is new drywall. In my heart, I just don't feel as if my customers will get the best bang for their buck that way. In other words, if I do primer plus two coats over a previously painted surface, it's not going to be a significantly better end result than if I just applied two coats of a high quality paint. The customer won't notice, so I just don't think it's necessary. Now, if the customers are wealthy people that want the best of the best, then of course I will do it. I would also do it in my own house.

You seem to know what you want to do with the fur coat. As long as you're comfortable with how you're using it, that is all it matters. As for myself, I feel creepy wearing real fur. I'm not comfortable wearing one at all. However, I am fine wearing certain type of leather such as cow or sheep leather. At an earlier post, someone posted that's all in the food chain. I disagree, we eat beef, pork, chicken, lamb, etc. but we normally don't eat beaver, chinchilla, etc.. So, if it's snake skin, leopard leather, etc.., those too I wouldn't feel comfortable wearing it. That's just me though.
