Wholesale order for edible plants in Portland
Comments (4)Hi all, I'm doing one more community wholesale order this year, from Hartmann's Nursery in the midwest for: -Blueberries (Highbush, halfhigh, and lowbush - the only wholesale source I've found for lowbushes) -Black huckleberries -Kiwis (Hardy and Arctic Beauty - only 2.5" pots available, unfortunately) -Raspberries (regular and ground cover) -Blackberries -Cranberries -Lingonberries -Bush cherries -Elderberries -Gooseberries -Red Currants -Stevia If you're interested in joining in the order, email me at scrub@corrupt.net Thanks! Norris...See MoreSeed Wholesalers ; Seeds Wholesale
Comments (3)Good question. They are a lot cheaper. I grabbed one example, not the best, but I like Cora Vinca. I just searched a big site on the web. Their price is $3.95 for 20 seeds. Big Wholesaler: $4.60 for 100 seeds. With a four person split you get 25 seeds for $1.15. Well, one more example: Salvia, Lady In Red Big Site on the web:$4.95 for 75 seeds Big Wholesaler $5.25 for 500seeds There are many, many better examples that blew me away. You would just have to check the items you like to see what I mean. Incidentally you can buy from them and use the extra seeds, no splitting. Also, the company I use carries 8000 types. Any way we have our four people and are doing the splitting right now. I am mailing mine to all tomorrow. I got an email from a 5th person and told her I would keep the post open incase 3 other people want to join her. But our specific swap in closed. Thanks for the question, Bob...See MoreOrdering furniture from NC/Acknowledgement Number
Comments (0)Has anyone asked and received an acknowledgement number (given to the furn store after placing an order with furn mfr) when placing an order through the furniture stores in NC/SC? With the economy in a slump, I had done some reading about ordering furniture out of state, checking credit report of furniture company and mfr., etc., and how to avoid losing money, the company folding, etc. The article recommended asking for the acknowledgement number when the order is placed so if the customer does not get satisfaction from the furniture company in terms of a delivery date, or if the delivery is longer than expected or was told, you can contact the furniture mfr., to check the status. This was also suggested since you then know if the order was, in fact, placed, and the furn. store is not holding up your order for whatever reason. I have placed an order and asked for the ack. numbers and the rep questioned "why would I want that information - no one has ever asked for the ack. number." I explained my reason (wanting to be sure the order has been placed and the furn company is still in business, and he assured me the company is in good standing, etc.) I have yet to receive these numbers for either of the furniture mfrs. from the furniture store. I have the deposit on my credit card, so i feel ok about that, but am annoyed that the store is not sending me the ack. number. If armed with this information, I certainly dont plan to call the furn. mfrs. about my order, but if after 16 weeks I do not have it and the store cannot provide a legitimate explanation, i would have recourse. I realize the furn. store prob doesnt wish to share the ack. number for that reason - that the customer will be contacting the mfrs. Should I continue to push for this information? Your thoughts?...See MoreTeak Furniture-Dallas or wholesale
Comments (6)We just purchased teak furniture from the Teak Warehouse in Southern California. They have two warehouse shoe rooms. One in San Diego and one in the Torrance area. The quality looks to be very good and the prices are just phenomenal. They claim to be a wholesale supplier to many retailers. They also sell marine grade 316 stainless steel patio furniture with a French material that look beautiful. The price for a chair is around $550 but I suspect the same chair at a patio store would run $1500....See Moremccall
