Will(right?), these questions are difficult to answer because they vary wildly based on climate. I had a specimen of gold-flushing picea orientalis last season that stayed gold all year after flushing gold(and is still gold), whereas I know of specimens in the Midwest that turned green in 3-4 weeks after flushing gold. Many of my gold-flushing conifers are muted here compared to the Midwest, but they stay that color longer - sometimes 2-3X's as long. My 'Taylor's Sunburst' still had gold-hues near the 4th of July last year. As for the blueness of the needles, I personally don't find too much difference between 'Spring Blast' and 'Gebelle's Golden Spring', as illustrated in the first set of photos. They both seem perhaps a little less blue then blue-flushing picea pungens, but indistinguishable between themselves. For me it would be simple - price and availability. A local nursery here had a huge 'Gebelle's Golden Spring', something like 10 years old, and if I was buying today, I might be tempted to get that instead of a small two year graft. -Will

I suggest avoiding Rowe furniture, their frames are of pine plywood stapled together, they use low density foam in their frames and their better grade 1.8 density HR seat foam will flatten because of the polyester fiber wrap. (HR foams should have 2.0 density+) And their overall quality of cutting - sewing - upholstery is poor at best. If your shopping online, best to buy directly from the manufacturer, like Carolina Chair or Icustomsofa.

I just really like the color and lines, although I'm not sure if the color would work for my house. forboystoo-Richard Schultz is what I originally wanted, but there is so much red dirt and dust where I live, I am worried it might stain them. The ones with the wheels are around 2700 each and I dont want to pay that much if they are going to get stained. The first time one of them did that.. laying down on her side, it kinda freaked me out. They do it to sunbathe, dust bathe, and to cool down when it's hot. They look like dorks. Here's Gertie and some of the other girls when they were about 6mos old Here's Josephine with the cute little white silkies I had when we first started getting chickens. It was so funny how she was their protector and one day they just lay down and one of them kinda gave her a hug! Not sure if it was the make or female. Had to re-home them because we can't have roosters. He was crowing a LOT and always trying to get with Gertie. The silkies are banties, so they're about half the size of the other chickies. Couldn't see keeping the female since they both were chased and pecked at relentlessly by the other girls.
