How do you feel about resilient floors in bathrooms?

I have been working off and on with a client on a townhouse renovation. It is not an area where a high end renovation will give a great return.

We did hardwoods throughout the first floor and in the kitchen the base cabinets match the hardwood floors, and the kitchen floor is cream colored vinyl (no pattern, really). Her friends would come into the house and literally YELL "WHAT? you spend all this money and you didn't do a CERAMIC TILE floor?!"

Now we are doing the main bathroom. Again, no budget...I am recommending Mannington Adura rather than ceramic for both labor and material costs. She is afraid her friends will disapprove. The tile setter for the wall tile was aghast.

I have absolutely no problem using materials like this other than the fact that it is getting harder and harder to find vinyl that is not kinda cheap and ugly looking.

What do You think,,,and what part of the country are you from? I think it may be geographic to some extent.
