Question for those who have ordered from NC

Hi,

I have found a sofa I'd like to order through Alan Ferguson in NC. Ordering through them will save me almost $700 than if I bought locally.

My question is, if you buy from an NC dealer and you experience any warranty issues that require the sofa to be returned to their store or manufacturer - do you, the customer, absorb the freight charge? Just wondering if I am better off spending the $700 extra and have a local company take care of warranty issues etc to avoid possible freight costs. How about minor issues - do they usually have a local resource to take care of such issues? Is this resource someone that would be sent by the retailer or the manufacturer?

Thanks
