Dynamic Mounting Above Fireplace TV Mount for Samsung 65"

Just install this TV mount from Dynamic for my new house. For aesthetic reason we have to install the TV above the fireplace but it caused big neck problem when watching.

It took me a good 2 hours to completely finish the installation. You DO need to spend sometimes figuring out the distances but once that is done the rest is easy.
The price tag is costly but with review and help them out with spreading the word you can save another $100 (which is why I am doing this post).

So if you are in the situation like mine, this one is one of the only solution outer that let you fix this. It's pricey yes but what choice do we have? It works and solid design!

What a way to ruin the great look of a burning fireplace. But if that's what you want....

that looks like it would put a --LOT-- of torque on the wall. I hope the wall system behind is made to take it and the proper hardware was used to attach it.

I've had my tv over my fireplace for over 5 years and absolutely love it there. Nothing like having a nice fire while binging on Netflix. For your space, I'd go with the bigger tv. There's room for it without the space looking crowded. One thing, consider installing a fireplace mantle below tv. A mantle will protect your tv from the heat of the fireplace. You don't need a deep mantle depending on the setup of your tv and wall bracket. A tv exposed to that kind of heat will not last.

Sorry, I misunderstood, I thought you lived in a small house and the area pictured was the only space available to serve both as dining and living. I think you should do as someone above mentioned and cut cardboard to the different sizes that you are considering and see what you think will work best for you and your family. Your son did a very nice job on the table. I looked closely at it while considering the drop leaf table and thought how nice it looked. However, thinking that the room had to serve both as living and dining area it needed smaller scaled furnishings.

Lovely room! If there is really no alternative spot for the TV then consider getting it professionally installed with a bracket that enables you to lower it to a more comfortable viewing height - if it were me, I would go with a Samsung Frame TV that enables customization of the screen so there is not just a giant black box hanging over the FP ^ that is the Samsung Frame with a Deco TV frame https://fivefootfeminine.com/2021/02/23/samsung-frame-tv-review/

Looking at these pictures, I also used the Dynamic mount for my Samsung 65". But the WAF plummeted because it hid the fireplace, so back to Costco and exchange for a 60". See attached pic. I'm very happy with the installation and ease of use. In the "up" position, it looks like a normal above-the-fireplace mount.
