Good Quality Casual Leather Reclining Sofa
Comments (2)The Rancher Brown Leather Recliners collection allows you to mix and match chairs, love seats and sofas the way you need them. All pieces in this brown leather recliners feature rich, deep brown bonded leather upholstery. Quality Leggett and Platt reclining mechanisms mean years of smooth and quiet reclining action. These are great leather recliners for a living room, family room, game room or home theater....See MoreOmnia or Leather Italia
Comments (1)I've not sold either. However, Omnia has a good reputation. Comparable to Jaymar, Elite, American Leather. Leather Italia is like the Natuzzi, DeCoro, Chateau D'ax products. Either will serve you fine....See MoreOmnia leather furniture
Comments (16)We bought an Omnia sectional about a year and half ago, and I'd say we are less than impressed. The leather is nice, but the cushions on the back are already getting saggy, and require "fluffing." The velcro to hold our loose cushions is so loud we had to put fabric over the velcro so that they don't make noise every time someone shifts (defeating the point of the velcro). The frame has been squeaky since they day we got it and we are still working to see if this can be resolved. The leather at the top/back of the back cushions does not go down far enough so that the backing fabric can be seen from the rear of the couch, our couch floats in the the great room so this is less than ideal. At this point I kinda wish Omnia or the dealer would just take it back. So while their warranty may appear great when issues arise be prepared for a long process to get things resolved (hopefully). The details of this couch leave a bit to be desired....See MoreBrands of good quality leather sofas?
Comments (2)That is an interesting observation. I didn't' know that Century used a plywood frame. I did hear that current management will stay with Hancock and Moore for the near future. Based on the age of 2 of the current owners at Hancock and Moore which I think is about 75 and 80. (The third owner is younger, late 50's). I would say that they will stay through the transition which I have heard might be about 6 or more months after which I would guess Century Management will play a more compelling role in manufacturing and distribution of Hancock and Moore.. At that point it is anyone's guess as to what Century's management might do. I would think there will be some consolidation in all respects. It would seem odd for the two companies to have two frame shops for example, one with hardwood frames and one with plywood frames. I wonder what the current owners of H and M plan to do with Taylor King which was not sold. It seems to me that Taylor King wasn't purchased by Century as the product line is similar to the Century Product line. Perhaps they are looking for a buyer or perhaps the younger owner of Hancock and Moore will stay on with Taylor King but that doesn't really seem likely. They are shutting down Councill casegoods and closing their two plants In Denton, NC at the end of June. From what I have heard Councill was having a tough time of it although they made a very nice product. Cenutry hopes to move many of the displaced workers to their other factories which I am sure will be a big relief to the works who might have lost their jobs in this small town. . It will be interesting to see what happens....See Moredetodog
