What is your opinion of Stickley Upholstered furniture?
Comments (3)I bought a Stickley fabric upholstered sofa about 5 years ago. It is a traditional English roll arm sofa not one of their Mission style ones. I am very pleased with the quality. It's extremely comfortable and looks almost new despite the best efforts of 3 little boys to destroy it. I also have a leather Hancock & Moore sofa bought at the same time and I would say it's equivalent in quality and finish to the Stickley....See MoreI need opinions please, please, please!
Comments (10)All right, I'll answer as a buyer. Assuming all else in the house was what we wanted and needed, I would buy it, with a couple changes. I would have the DR right there by the kitchen, as you do, and it would be elegant DR. I would have a couple wingback chairs at that DR table because if I were going to sit in there and watch TV (that is a TV at the head of the table?) I'd want to be in a comfy chair. The only thing is that in order to please me, the kitchen would have to look fairly fabulous since it is right there by my living space. The kitchen seems a little light on cabinets and counter space. Just two straight lines... can you do anything to make it very interesting? As I said, I'm different. In our last house we had the family room/kitchen as one big room. We remodeled the kitchen to be droolingly gorgeous and put our cherry DR set in the family room with two big wingback chairs, kicked all living room furniture out. Had the TV in there. It was the room in which we spent all our time and was a great room for parties as well. Warm, inviting, friendly. So, in a nutshell, if I liked the way everything looked, I like the idea, and I'd buy it. BUT, now, to be realistic, when we went to sell that house (and it was just over a year ago so was in the days of real estate decline), despite its gorgeous kitchen and the fact that the decorator had assured us that women would be begging their husbands to buy them the house because of it... nobody wanted it. We finally ended up selling it at a big loss to an investor. So, others are right when they say there are no guarantees, and there is no accounting for or being assured of other peoples' taste....See MoreNew furniture for foyer- need opinions please
Comments (3)I don't think every space needs to be filled. I like your table and it is fine but a more substantial table would certainly look nice. I wouldn't work just find one, wait until you find one that you can't live without. Until then yours and your chairs are fine....See MoreOpinions on Natuzzi Italia leather furniture?
Comments (37)Bought the Natuzzi Brama delivered 7th Dec 2024. flagged same problem with cushion very baggy and unsightly on one section of the corner settee within 2 days of delivery. They arranged appointment with technician outside 30 day legal obligation to refund so put in a request for a refund. Engineers report was a whitewash in favour of Natuzzi and said it was normal! This did not reflect the conversation we had . Natuzzi denying any liability. Negative reviews reflect this scenario so wonder if this ’independant company’ works in favour of Natuzzis to refuse to provide a repair, refund or replacement. All seems a bit dodgy to me! requesting section 75 with my credit card and putting negative reviews on Trustpilot and other sites. Trustpilot good reviews of 4.8 are because they ask customers at time of sale to upload a review on Trustpilot which occurred with me and i declined. wouldn't deal with this company again ....See MoreRelated Professionals
