Engineered Hardwood Flooring - Installation Qustions

Hi,

I had two questions on my engineered wood flooring install, and hope somebody knowledgeable can answer them for me.

My installation will be on concrete on the concrete foundation on the first floor and on a plywood sub-floor on the second story. My installer suggests glue-down as the way to go for both 1st story and 2nd.

1.) What glue will work as good as the Bostik (best as per my installer and others) without the toxic fumes etc? I have heard about MS Polymer based glue's.

2.) What kind of epoxy sealer should I use for the concrete on the 1st floor?

3.) For the upstairs installation, another installer had told me that using an acoustical barrier and then gluing the floor down would be best. My installer says that he doesn't see how that would work, as the floor needs to be glued to the plywood, or stapled if the underlayment is underneath it.

4.) I will be using an acoustical barrier, but which kind works well? I have heard of FloorMuffler but is that a good one to use under engineered wood flooring installed on plywood?

Thanks in advance.
