HCG diet protocol and hcg drops

I have found hcg homeopathic drops that are pre-mixed which is easier than mixing and at a great price. at http://www.hcgskinnyme.com The drops work just as good as injections. They also sell a guidebook that makes the hcg diet simple to understand and a cookbook for Phase 2 during the hcg low calorie time. I am just excited this works cause I am just as skinny as I was back in college. It's great stuff!

I just started my 2nd 20day course with the HCG shots.I lost 18lbs the 1st time I did it.It really helped curb my appetite so that it was easier for me to stay on the 500 calorie diet.I've done everything under the sun and had just about given up hope.I was very skeptical when I did this the 1st time.I only do 20 days at a time as I know I can do a 500 calorie diet that long.After that I started obsessing about food,so in order to not cheat,I just did 20 days.I was doing great in maintaining the loss until Thanksgiving at which time I just enjoyed whatever I wanted to eat.I gained 10lbs over the holiday season and I consider that as nothing as on other diets I've gained back all that I lost PLUS more.This time I didn't.I'd appreciate hearing from more HCG users about how it's going for them.I finally have hope to lose all I want to lose.

Just starting for the first time. I am working with a clinic, I start loading tomorrow. I have read so much about not buying hcg on the web because it is illegal to buy without prescription and if you do buy without script then you are probably not getting the real stuff. How do you trust what you are buying?

By the very definition of homeopathy, the homeopathic HCG drops have absolutely no HCG in them. They are nothing more than a placebo. The way that this diet works is because it severely restricts your calories. But if you want to waste your money on a placebo, fine. I would also guess that such a severe calorie restriction would also be unhealthy. Homeopathic products are made from minerals, botanical substances, and several other sources. If the original substance is soluble, one part is diluted with either nine or ninety-nine parts of distilled water and/or alcohol and shaken vigorously (succussed); if insoluble, it is finely ground and pulverized in similar proportions with powdered lactose (milk sugar). One part of the diluted medicine is then further diluted, and the process is repeated until the desired concentration is reached. Dilutions of 1 to 10 are designated by the Roman numeral X (1X = 1/10, 3X = 1/1,000, 6X = 1/1,000,000). Similarly, dilutions of 1 to 100 are designated by the Roman numeral C (1C = 1/100, 3C = 1/1,000,000, and so on). Most remedies today range from 6X to 30X, but products of 30C or more are marketed. A 30X dilution means that the original substance has been diluted 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 times. Assuming that a cubic centimeter of water contains 15 drops, this number is greater than the number of drops of water that would fill a container more than 50 times the size of the Earth. Imagine placing a drop of red dye into such a container so that it disperses evenly. Homeopathy's "law of infinitesimals" is the equivalent of saying that any drop of water subsequently removed from that container will possess an essence of redness. Robert L. Park, Ph.D., a prominent physicist who is executive director of The American Physical Society, has noted that since the least amount of a substance in a solution is one molecule, a 30C solution would have to have at least one molecule of the original substance dissolved in a minimum of 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 molecules of water. This would require a container more than 30,000,000,000 times the size of the Earth. Please feel free to ask anyone practicing homeopathy about these rules. I bought HGC Platinum drops from Super Supplements. Friend used them with amazing results. I'm a skeptic but have lost 2lbs on load days and just starting VLCD today. Only had mild hunger but drinking more fluid helped that. Good point I saw on another diet site. Usually if you feel hungry, you are really thirsty. Drink fluids first, if you are still hungry, then eat. Works in this too. Good luck.

Harold - I had tried to low-fat / low-cal dieting in the past with little results. With or without exercise. The drinking I cut out completely, especially with the beer I drink (and only beer too). I have the 'gift' of being able to go no-drink at all for a while, or drink like fish (depending on mood). Though, from what I have been reading, they do forgive you one glass of red wine, or a spirit. One major thing that I am noticing is that the HCG is based on the original version (I discount Trudeau). What many people fail to take into account is the many changes in food over the past 30 years. What was available then and now has drastically changed. For example, I love Black Cherry Seltzer water - delicious. The one I drink is Zero calories, sugar, fat and naturally flavoured without extra chemicals that I can't pronounce. According the original diet - this is a big "NO". I believe that there is a large amount of latitude in the diet provided you follow it using common sense. I am moving into Day 5 (began at 201lbs - pre-load - 205lbs post-load) with a rotating work schedule which has me going to bed at 8am (taking my injection), then waking early afternoon for lunch, then having dinner around 11pm. So I will be interested to see how my body reacts. I have gotten the headaches - but a quick tablet and a nights sleep and it was clear. Not too much on the hunger pangs - only when I eat do I not feel full. I guess that is what the water helps to fill. Although, and I only began to notice this an hour or so ago, I have been awake since 8am (EST) and it is now passing 4am (EST) and I don't "look" tired and my face seems to have a comfortable "glow"... perhaps the weight loss will be attributed to my finally giving birth after so many years :-) As for exercise, I have been going to the Gym since 2007, first on a Mon, Wed, Fri schedule - presently (prior to HCG) on a 2xMon, 2xTue, 2xWed, 2xThu schedule. I roughly walk about 1-2 miles per day at my office (lot of leg work involved). I think my thought on uploading to Youtube may have been premature - my hectic schedule does not seem to allow the devotion to doing it.. so I guess it may be limited to my posting here. Until then, be happy.

I have just started the drops and I am on load day 2, but I have done a lot of research and if you take your fruit from lunch and eat it in the morning and then your fruit from supper as a snack between lunch and supper or supper and bed it will help with that starving feeling and also keep your metabolism up through out the day. stick with it and congrats on your weight loss so far I hope I am as lucky as you.

I have recently purchased the drops and am excited to start the diet. I was wondering though why you are supposed to cut out things like oily makeup and regular shampoo. of course I will do this if it is necessary for the diet to work, I just cant find anywhere where it says the reason behind it...I would like to know why...so please offer info if you know...

I am in day 4 of the diet already lost 5 pounds...It is easy to stay on a diet when it actually works. I am not looking for a cheat but is there anything about diet redbull in this...the headaches are killing ma and coffee hurts my stomach.

I am also starving but I hear that will go away.

Anyone have any good recipes using the ingrediants they would like to share?

If you are taking so called homeopathic hcg you are taking a placebo. There is NO active ingredient in it. You are losing weight because you are severly restricting your caloric intake, perhaps dangerously so.

Or, you could just buy some distilled water or sugar pills, because they would have the same active ingredients and you would save a bundle of money!

Big question...What happens when all stored fat is depleted? Nutrients are then taken from muscle!! The heart is a muscle. can anyone afford that? I think NOT.

Can someone suggest a good place to buy the drops? I used drops I bought online and was starving the entire time I was on the protocol. Sure I lost weight but I was completely obsessed with food. I'd like to try it again but want to buy the drops elsewhere in case the ones I used were not legit or just not strong enough. If you've had success with drops you bought online and can tell me where you bought them and how many drops you used per day, I'd appreciate it.

I'd like to try it again but want to buy the drops elsewhere in case the ones I used were not legit or just not strong enough.

That's because there are no active ingredients in any of the homeopathic drops that you can buy online.

I wandered over to this forum and am simply amazed at the stupidity of you people doing this diet!! Of course you will lose weight only eating 500 calories a day, you'll also lose muscle. Check with those people who posted 2 years ago, and how are they doing now. I bet most of them (if not all) have regained the weight and then some.

I think most of the posts are spam. And I cannot believe people would actually inject themselves with hormones to lose weight. Talk about playing with fire. This whole "diet" is pathetic, and those who go on it and push others to ought to have their heads examined.
