Comments (6)I'm not clear on what type of vine it is , but purple is correct, you can probably expect some "revenge" in the form of re-shooting or suckering. To succeed in one go, you would need to cut and poison the vines in growing phase, but that means waiting longer and facing the prospect of leaf drop in spring/summer. So, proceed as planned, just be ready for spotting new growth later and dealing with it as it emerges, and you will eventually succeed. The parts attached to the wall will certainly disintegrate over time, but maybe easier to remove in a few vigorous sessions once they have died off. " Not if there is no change to the height or width of the opening. You can remove the wall area UNDER a window and use the existing header and lintel without alteration. Comments (4)Given the color of the bricks, I wonder if you exposed the main brick color underneath the whitish color when you power washed it. Were those areas a different color prior to power washing? White brick is not typically white all the way through....See Moreijensen
