Hey Kate how are you doing? So nice to hear from you? How's the bath coming along? I got my tile in and was working on getting the cabinet made and darn if that thick green glass sink that I have never used is having issues with the glue they used. It's turning yellow! Ahhh can't believe it! The whole room was decorated around this sink! Anyway can I ask why / what was wrong with the diet wasit the amount of food? Did you give it enough time? I just started drops today and I was suppose to eat eat eat but I just can't do that. I ate some different stuff but I don't think I ate any extra. if I could dump 70 lbs I would be very happy. I figure with the diabetes I will make that my first priorty. I will eat more then the 500 if needed and check my sugar often. I am really hoping that I can get out of this diabetic state. At least that's my plan I asked the head of the physians practice about a year ago and he didn't endorse it said was not safe I replied neither is diabetes & HBP I would love to know more of what your dr had to say and your thoughts on the matter. I'm sure that the reason that they tell you not to exercise is because you are on a very low calorie diet, and are not eating enough to exercise. The reason why this diet works is because you are eating very few calories. There is no magic in the HCG shots.

For 3 weeks you should ideally follow the "maintenance phase" in order to allow your body to stabiliaze at your new weight. After your 3 days of eating 500 calories once discontinuing the HCG, you can start to eat other foods, but avoid sugars and starches whenever possible. They say it is imperative to weigh yourself every day, without fail, and if you gain more than 2 pounds, have a "steak day". This means, you go all day without eating anything, but drinking as much of the allowable liquids as you want. Then, for dinner you have a huge steak with either a raw tomato or an apple. This must be done on the day your weight goes above 2 pounds from your final weight on the HCG. I have not gotten to this phase yet but this was the information I was given with my HCG order (I am using the sublingual homeopathic HCG drops). Good luck!

Hi, Robert. It's good that you got your wake-up call in the form of a physical. In my case, it was being diagnosed with diabetes. Can't help with the hcg, but I don't think you really need it. I lost weight mainly just by counting calories, cutting back on the junk food, and getting in a little exercise. I know the panicky feeling when you know you have to lose a lot of weight. Still, it's best to take it kind of slow. Do it the right way and avoid the fad diets. We'll be glad to help any way we can.
