Does anyone have the recipe for katiec's savory cheesecake?

I've been searching and I can't find it. It was mentioned on a different thread.

Any other savory cheesecake type recipe would be welcome as well. I adore cheese.

Jalapeno Cheesecake Recipe
Serving Size : 20 Preparation Time :0:00

8 ounces cream cheese
5 ounces sharp cheddar cheese -- grated
2 cloves garlic
1 egg
8 ounces jalapeno jelly

Mix first four ingredients together with half of the jelly. Pour mixture into greased 6- inch springform pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
Cool completely and remove from pan.

Heat remaining jelly and pour over top of cheesecake. Serve with chips and/or crackers.

Not KatieC's but savory and cheesecake
Savory Blue Cheese Tart
1 10 inch unbaked pie shell
Â½ cup chopped pecans
6 Oz cream cheese
2 eggs
4 Oz Maytag blue cheese
Â½ cup milk
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp corn starch
Ripe olives and chives to garnish
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Sprinkle nuts in the bottom of
pie shell. Mix the next 6 ingredients in a blender or food processor
and pour slowly into the crust. Garnish with sliced ripe
olives and chopped chives. Bake 35 to 40 minutes until set.
Cool and refrigerate 2 hours, cut into 12 wedges and arrange
on a platter

And another savory cheesecake:
SUZIE'S PESTO CHEESECAKE
CRUST
1 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 cup grated parmesean cheese
1/2 cup melted butter Mix all together and press into 9" springform pan. Bake 10 minutes.
FILLING
4 (8 oz packages) cream cheese
4 eggs
1/2 cup heavy cream
2 cups pesto (from the refrigerator section of your grocer)
Beat with electric mixer. Pour into prepared pan. Bake at 350* for 1 hour. Chill several hours or overnight. Remove from pan and decorate with a little chopped tomato or chopped sundried tomatoes. Slice into very thin slices and serve on small individual plates - or - cut into thirds and place 1/3 on serving plate and use to spread on crackers or baguettes. Be sure to decorate with a little chopped "red" tomato accent and maybe some green basil too. Looks beautiful! (If you cut into thirds, you can serve 1/3 and freeze the remaining for another time.)

CHOCOLATE MARBLED CHEESECAKE 2 c. chocolate cookie wafer crumbs 1/2 c. confectioners' sugar 1/2 c. (1 stick) butter, melted FILLING: 2 env. unflavored gelatin 1/2 c. cold water 1/3 c. all-purpose flour 3/4 c. granulated sugar, divided 1 1/2 c. milk 4 egg yolks, slightly beaten 1 pkg. (6 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate pieces 1 c. whipping cream 2 c. cottage cheese 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1/2 tsp. almond extract 4 egg whites For Crust: Combine crumbs and sugar; stir in butter. press mixture firmly and evenly against the bottom and halfway up the sides of a 9 inch springform pan. Chill. For Filling: Sprinkle gelatin over water to soften. Combine flour and 1/4 cup sugar. Stir in milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens. Add small amount of hot mixture to egg yolks; return all to saucepan. Cook 1 additional minute. Add softened gelatin; stir until dissolved. Cool to lukewarm. Melt chocolate pieces with 1/3 cup whipping cream over low heat, stirring constantly, until chocolate is melted. (Refrigerate remaining cream until used.) Remove from heat; cool to lukewarm. Beat cottage cheese 5 minutes on highest speed of mixer. Blend in vanilla and almond extracts and gelatin mixture. Beat egg whites until foamy; continue beating and gradually add remaining 1/2 cup sugar. Beat until stiff peaks form. Fold beaten egg whites into gelatin mixture. Whip remaining 2/3 cup cream in a chilled bowl with chilled beaters until stiff peaks form; fold into gelatin mixture. Spoon about 1/3 of filling into crust; drizzle thin stream of chocolate over filling; swirl with spoon in marble pattern. Repeat until filling and chocolate are used.

Look for recipes that use fewer eggs in proportion to the cream cheese (or NeufchÃ¯Â¿Â½tel or ricotta or whatever "cheese" ingredient you're using) and very little or no flour. Eggs and flour are thickening and binding agents that will give a firmer texture. Also, try adding (or increasing the amount of) sour cream to the cheesecake mixture. I usually also add a tablespoon or two of fresh lemon juice. If the mixture is predominately cream cheese (and very little liquid), the cheesecake will be very firm when chilled. Even more important than the specific recipe that you use, DO NOT OVERBAKE! The cheesecake will continue baking after you take it out of the oven, and it will become firmer when it's refrigerated. If you want a soft, creamy cheesecake, the center of the cheesecake should be jiggly when you take it out of the oven. Even the best recipe will be ruined if overbaked. I've tried a lot of different cheesecake recipes over the years, and have gotten great results with nearly all of them. (Of course, I don't select recipes at random. Usually I try recipes that have been recommended to me or that come from serious cooks.) Unlike regular cake recipes which need to be followed precisely, cheesecake recipes are very forgiving. You have some leeway to adjust the quantities of the ingredients, as long as you don't make drastic changes. One last tip -- I always use Neufchatel instead of cream cheese these days because it has 1/3 less fat than cream cheese. It often has fewer additives than cream cheese, which almost always have stabilizers added. I'm very fussy about ingredients, but I can't tell the difference in cheesecake. I FOUND IT and I'm cutting/pasting it here so I can search for it later. It was buried in an odd file on my laptop. W00t! Up and Down Gumbo with Smoked Paprika 1.5 lb mix sausage and chicken, or to taste, sliced or cut up into pieces. Oil for sautÃ©ing AP Flour - up to Â½ cup 3 cups water or stock 1 Tbsp chicken bouillon (if using water) 2 bay leaves 1-2 Tbsp savory 1-2 Tbsp smoked paprika FGBP (I used green peppercorns) to taste 1 med/large onion, chopped 3 stalks celery 2-3 cloves minced garlic Brown your meats in a dutch oven over medium heat. Remove meat, add oil if necessary, and make a roux with the flour, scraping up the bits. In a separate pan, saute onion, celery until soft, add garlic at the last minute. When roux is colored to your liking, add onion mixture and three cups water and bouillon or stock. Add seasonings (bay leaves, savory, smoked paprika) and bring to a low boil until thickened. Add back in the meats and their juices, add FGBP to taste. Serve over rice. [For those who are interested....although I was terrified I had poisoned my guests, it thankfully turned out that this dish did NOT agree with me. Hence the title 'Up and down'. You can fill in the visuals. I don't think that will help get the recipe points, though]

What is the ingredient list on the purchased box? (or is it a box). I'm not familiar with Marie. One odd thing i noticed is 5 dollops of whipped topping on the pie. Is that not hard to cut evenly? We don't have pie much and an inch slice is about our limit and only holiday time anywho...(can't cut across that first cut) It is standard practise with larger companies to use the actual product advertised and on the box photo...and in tv commercials. It is the law and any cheats would be so easily leaked by those working on the project. Styled food 'photos' do cheat sometimes in later touch-up but the original set-up is the actual food product. Hours with tweezers. I worked on so many years ago to fill in down time and then again during the writers strike for a short time. I'd rather stick pins in my eyes it is so boring. Smaller companies and most import products are not regulated at all. Why what you see on some package/can/jars is nothing like inside and why it is often impossible to re-create something after looking at the ingredient list with all the preservatives tweaks in a laboratory. One commercial for a checkerboard ice-cream that served up perfect slices had a half dozen chest freezers brought in with the actual boxes from the factory that one would buy in your local grocery. They sliced and sliced for three days to get the perfect one over and over. On a PizzaHut commercial they tractor trailered in the ovens used in their 'establishments', (fast food joints) lol. And large boxes of chilled bags of goop sauce with a dozen in-house cooks to prepare it just the way it is done by the food staff on site in your neighborhood. I think it was for their pasta offerings, not pizza. Besides all that, trying to re-create a good flavor combination at home with fresh ingredients is noble and i think important. Less processed and maybe not so pretty but much healthier. (really who cares with dessert) Actually with trial and error a pretty slice can happen...not likely in my house as some are often perfect and others are goopy but still taste good. A warm knife run under the sink then whipped dry helps with slicing cold pie. The entire history of food advertising and when the ball dropped is interesting. like GainsBurgers for dogs. Basically play-dough with zero food value and considered a real treat!

This one is da bomb!!! I've made it often and frozen it like she says - and it thaws beautifully. It's great to have in the freezer if someone pops in unexpectedly.

Here's one from me. Leftovers can be melted and served as a hot dip when you're tired of cheesecake.

Santa Fe Cheesecake

1 cup finely crushed tortilla chips
3 T. butter, melted
2 Â 8 ounce packages cream cheese, room temperature
2 eggs
8 ounces shredded Colby/Monterey Jack cheese blend
1 can chopped green chilies, drained
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 jar diced pimentos
2 t. minced dried garlic
2 t. Worcestershire sauce

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Mix tortilla chips with melted butter and press into a 9-inch springform pan. Bake for 15 minutes.

Beat cream cheese and eggs until well blended. Add shredded cheese, green chilies, onion, pimentos, Worcestershire sauce and garlic. Pour over tortilla chip crust and bake for 30 minutes.

Serve chilled or at room temperature with tortilla chips and salsa.

trsinc, the one I made at Christmas is the first one posted, I like the hot pepper jelly element and top it with my homemade Habanero Gold.

I have doubled the recipe and baked it in a round 8 inch cake pan with one of those "releaser bars", I just dump it out onto the plate with the browned bottom side up, and then I spread the jelly on top and no one even notices that it's not right side up, LOL.

Thank you everybody! Good tip, Annie, lol. I can't wait to try these. For us, a nice meal would be a big piece of one of these, with crostini and a salad. That's how I justify all the fat and calories, lol. :)
