...when it did previously? I bought a pretty script font that worked great for the last month. Yesterday I wanted to do some hand towels, and now it won't load on my machine via the memory stick. It's there on the memory stick....I've checked it out....but when I open my EMBF folder that my Janome machine uses, it's not there. I've tried everything I could thing of, but it is not available. If you had problems like this occur, what did you do to correct it? TYVM!

my first project was to embellish white linen with white cotton squiggles over the fabric randomnly and then to take the embroidered fabric and make a pair of trousers. my second project was to embroider pale green dragonflies over the shoulder and down the sleeve of a linen tunic. my third broke me to monogramming a dozen table napkins. and by the forth I was combining flower designs into bouquets and adding pithy messages and turning the pieces into bedroom pilloows with piped or ruffled edges. Now with a new machine I am into continuous borders for garments and funky buttonholes. which brother did you buy?

IKEA sells ones that are 50 cents each but they do have a red stripe running through it.

I have 2 machines that I use for sewing and quilting. The oldest is a Janome 9000 which has several embroidery cards and the newest is a Pfaff performance 5.0. I have used the embroidery features on the Janome for quilting in the past and it does have cards that allows me to do cut work and quilting eq. feathers and designs. The back looks fine as far and I can see. I don't use it often but it's fun to have. The newer embroidery machines offer many more capabilities then my older machine. This said: the difference it the cost may be a factor and I try to get the best that meets my needs, but if the embroidery machine were in my budget it would be nice to have as it offers more options for creativity.
