Weekly Weigh-in, Week of 5/10/09

Happy Mother's Day.

Our happy group of weighers-in has grown to seven women, plus me. I think there must be a Man Law that says guys are not supposed to go on the internet and gab about their diets. Oh well, I guess I didn't get that memo.

Here is the summary from last week's weigh-in.

Harold - Weight 232, Lost 2, Total Lost 43.

Silver - 131, 1, 21. How do you party two days straight and still lose weight? Ask Silver, but you'll have to catch up with her first. Wear your track shoes.

Eklektos - 142, 0, 10. Losing around the waist, it just didn't show on the scales this week.

Jasmi - 142.4, 3.6, 5.6. Wow! Who was starting to wonder if Jasmi would become our problem child? Come on, admit it. Okay, I admit it.

Peggy - 145, 0, 17. Held at 145 this week, but Peg is a patient woman. She'll stick with it.

Betty - 179, 1, 1. Lost a pound while continuing to build muscle like mad on the treadmill.

Helen - 171, 2, 29. She of the postage scale and the iron will.

Karen - Just joined the weigh-in at 170. Welcome.

My results for this week.

Weight 231, Lost 1, Total lost 44.

Calories: Food, 1584/day, exercise 399/day.

Hold the tiramisu. The scale has been stuck on 231 for 6 days in a row. But that's okay. The laws of physics will prevail in the long run. It's an energy balance equation. What goes in equals what goes out. The gazintas equals the gazouttas.
