Free fonts

Does anyone know of any free font downloads. Everything I have is at least 2 inches in size. Would like to have a smaller font to embroider on smaller items, like baby and children items. Just learning how to use the Ultimate box, trying free downloads before purchasing fonts.

dakota collectibles might have some that can be sized but you might need sizing software... which is good to have anyway. Does your embroidery machine have no fonts? Mine has several. as part of the sewing menu.

Ann The Gran (http://www.annthegran.com) has a large section of free designs, which includes an alphabet section. She also has fonts available for purchase with a few free samples.

I use PE Design for most of my fonts, but have recently also purchased Monogram Magic, which has a text program with about 70 fonts.

aka Frivolity is really named Frivolous. It is owned by Typadelic, but you can purchase it for $19. Albemarle End Swash is one of three fonts from this font family. There is also Albemarle and Albemarle Swash. They are owned by Scriptorium, but you can purchase them for $12 each. Ambiance BT is trademarked and owned by Bitstream. You can purchase it for $39. American Scribe is trademarked and owned by Three Islands Press. You can purchase it for $39. Amerika Sans does appear to be a free font. Arizona ROB is actually Arizonia, which is owned by TypeSETit. You can purchase it for $24.95. AT Old Fashion (or AT Old Fashioned) is actually Old Fashion Script, which is owned by Monotype Imaging. You can purchase it for $29. Beautiful ES does appear to be a free font. Bella Donna is trademarked and owned by Canada Type and can be purchased for $14.95. Blavicke Caps is Blavicke Capitals and appears to be a free font.

Mimi--thanks for getting this really rolling with your post and of course to kmcg! That particular frame is one I've had a couple years and sadly can't recall where I found it, but it's pewter I think and one of my favorites, and I think it'll fit with DD's decor. I actually suspect I found it at Ross, TJMaxx, Marshall's, Tuesday Morning or some sort like that since I know where I usually find frames. I searched a bit for one for this project and came up empty with one I really liked. I happened to recall that I already had this frame and used it since the frame looks like new still. Good luck in your search! I have one other silver square frame and may have to use it for another project, but I'm on the lookout now for frames. I love the wood one you used also and newhomebuilder's, too, but didn't find one like them around me here.
