Absolutely, 3 treatments 7-10 days apart will do the trick. Get plenty in the media also. I just finished my treatments for the fall... (I had a few mealies on some outside paphs and wanted to be sure they/all orchids were cleaned-up before I brought them all in). I even used this same treatment on the inside orchids in my grow room, I just closed the door and opened the window for a few hours after the treatment. Weeks 1/2/3 - Water heavily with regular water, re-water with Bayer Advanced, pump sprayer w/BA for all leaves, top and bottom and any spikes/flowers. I've not had a problem with blooms on paphs when using this treatment. I have 7-10 in bloom/spike currently that the plants and blooms were unaffected by the treatment. I used this same schedule for a 'serious' scale problem I had 4-5 years ago and it worked like a charm and eradicated all of the scale within 3-4 weeks. Good luck, Bob

Touch each scale with a Q-tip dipped in rubbing alchohol, or scrub them off with a damp cloth with dish soap (or do a search to see what others recommend). Then treat with approved pesticide or Neem oil. Some use horticultural oil mix. I usually treat with mix of hort oil and Spectracide combo in a spray, but not in the house. Retreat every three days for several weeks. Get it taken care of sooner rather than later and be diligent to followup treatment. Remove every one you see. Once you break the 'shell', they are gone, but small ones 'crawlers' continue to attach and grow. Especially check along leaf veins, at nodes, etc.

Yeah, that's the one I got. If you don't mind drilling a small hole in a drain pipe (mine are plastic so it was very easy), then it's easy. It comes with some good installation instructions. I think the hardest part was actually getting under the sink to reach the water outlet (I'm 6'4" and the small doors made getting under there slightly annoying). Just note that when you first install it, the water coming out of it looks bad at first until it runs for a while, I think that has to do with the charcoal filter. Also, I got a TDS meter from Amazon when I bought it so I can tell when to change the filters (and you can test when the water is done clearing through the filters on initial install). It's also kinda neat to see the difference in the tap water vs RO water (mine was over 500 ppm vs 40 ppm after the RO system).
