Marici, I love those cute gifs! I'm also glad it's not Easter weekend; I just do NOT have the time. LOL

Suzanne, glad you are taking in all that wonderful H2O!!! Stay off the caffeine and relax with a cup of decaf. Things will work out for you.

Please hold some positive thoughts for my DH and family. His uncle passed away yesterday. The man was remarkable to say the least. He has been crippled with Lou Gehrigs (sp?) disease for over 20 years; living the same way as Christopher Reeve. However, there has not been a time when I have not seen him smile, or beg to have a baby put on his lap, or inquire about someone else's health. He was always one of the first to accept an invitation---anywhere. We always remembered to have electricity for Uncle Steve's chair. In the end, it was a cancerous tumor that took his life---ironic, because the doctors were so amazed that he lived so long. His wife took such good care of him (at home!) for all those years; never even a bedsore! An amazing family and I will miss him and the inspiration he gave me and DH. So instead of being sad (as I was last night), I've decided to celebrate his life by sharing his life with all of you! A hard-working, compassionate wife, three successful children, four lovely grandchildren, and a legacy that life is what you make it!!!!!

WARNING - Heavy Answer Below: QOD - that is tough to just pick one thing. I have had a lifetime filled with challenges, from growing up with an alcoholic mother to losing a sister from developing panic attacks to losing both parents close together. I think the biggest challenge has been to overcome low self-esteem, yes, you heard right. No one believes me that know's me now, that I had the worse self-esteem and was so painfully shy, I would rather die than be in most public situations. Contrary to that I did have a very independent nature, brought on by the fact that as a child I had to fend for myself a lot of the time. I don't really know how I overcame it, but it had a lot to do with my children and wanting them to grow up with a much stronger role model. Groomingal - you have a plateful. I admire your ambition and doing what is important to you. I am sure your family will benefit from this change (even though at times you may wonder). Good luck with the house purchase. I love how the internet can help people connect. Look at us here. Milkdud - I will keep little Aubrie in my thoughts and prayers. You have some nerve mentioning 78 degrees. It is a whopping 26 right now LOL. Marci - Enjoy your Easter dinner. It is just DH and me this year. Not sure what we are going to do. Suzanne - I replied to your email yesterday, but noticed afterwards that the reply email was very different than the one's I know. Let me know if you didn't get it. Thanks for the walrus link - how adorable. Patti - I still have a Bok Tower postcard you sent me. Give Dave a hug from me for being so good to you. McPeg - thanks for the pep talk - it is much needed and appreciated LOL. I have been fighting a cold for a couple of days. Yesterday it won, today I am ahead. Speaking of Easter - Hey BJ if you are out there - I can't walk by a peep these days without thinking of you. Have a wonderful Easter everyone. I miss dying eggs, shopping for cute little dresses, hiding eggs, and sneaking a piece of chocolate before breakfast.

I'm here too, but mired in laundry and flyers for two mailings that I am labeling for my sister. I tried Pilates for the first time last week and I like it a lot. Now that isn't saying that I am good at it, but I feel like I can improve with time and I definitely think I will see a difference in my muscle tone. I am still going to Curves 3 times a week and walking 2 miles whenever I get the chance. I feel in control of my exercise and for the most part, I feel in control of my eating. I had to get weighed when I went for my checkup a few weeks ago and I wasn't happy with the number on the scale. But I do have to remember that I have gained muscle from Curves and muscle weighs more than fat. But from the way my clothes fit, I was surprised that the number on the scale wasn't lower. I guess that just proves that the scale isn't always the best measure of success. Mentally I felt exhaused last week. Too many phone calls and events that upset me and I couldn't shake that uneasy feeling that life was spiraling out of control. But this is a new week and I am hoping life doesn't hold any more surprises (at least unpleasant surprises) for me this week. I only have to work 3 days and then I get 5 days off. April is full of fun activities at school (field trips, ventriloquist, pony rides, etc.). I think April will fly and that means that summer will be here before I know it. Jen - I am glad the doctor's have found the reason for Erica's continued illnesses. Used to be every one got their tonsils out. But I think doctor's are more cautious these days. We are dealing with the Rota virus at preschool right now. Last week we only had 6 kids in our T-TH afternoon class. The 6 girls had a blast. We relaxed the rules a bit and let them play longer, choose whatever table they wanted to sit at and they got 2 snacks instead of one. But I am hoping everyone is healthy and ready to return on Tuesday, since that is their Easter party. DeeMarie - I don't know if I offered congratulations on your success with WW. WooHoo!!!!! I can feel your excitement and determination coming right through the computer screen! Keep up the good work. NHSuzanne - I am tired just thinking of hefting 100 bales of hay! I walked 2 miles today and did 20 minutes of Pilates then had to sit down and rest! Hope you are learning lots at your class today. BJ - When are you getting that computer fixed?? We miss you. Besh - We haven't heard much from you lately. Read any good books lately? Gretchen - What is the news on the sale of the company. Have you worked out the financial details yet? Raeanne - Pictures! We want pictures of your latest vacation for the album. Amy - Do you want me to include Heather's picture in the SS album? She is a fine looking cat. Speaking of the album, I was fooling around with my new scanner and I added a few new pictures to the album. Patti - I am stilling wondering where you are. Did you get my last email about scanning the photos? Joanne - Check in and let us know how you are feeling. SusieQ - We haven't heard from you in awhile. How was your DD's recital. If you have pictures you want in the SS album, let me know. Just sent me an email by clicking on My Page. Maddie - I loved the sound of your new "do". My stylist wanted me to consider highlights the last time I was there. But I have never colored my hair and I told her I had to think about it. She said that what she had in mind would be subtle and would grow out if I didn't want to continue. So I am thinking of trying it for the summer. Chris - How is tax season going? Gretchen~Thanks. It isn't a question at all. Please send it to Marci first. I still have some catching up to do! :) Congrats to DD. NH Suzanne~I may have said this before but FL drs. on a whole, do not believe in CFIDS or Fibromyalgia although they are recognized in the Armed Services, SS, WHO, CDC, the USPS, etc. So, that is why I travel so far. It is fun to go look for dolphins though so I enjoy that part & we really have the best therapist & psychiatrist there too. If we had the money, we would move over there in a heart beat, I think. Susie~Have a great time. Amy~WTG on writing the book. Perhaps we will both be authors one day. Jen~Sorry about the illnesses you & the girls have had. [[[[ H U G S ]]]] BJ~What movie did you go see? Donna I'll trade you 17cm of snow for your rain. Just up from a good sleep, one coffee and going out for my first bout of shoveling snow. At least our plow guy has been round and did as much as he could. Our neighbor across the street has a snowblower and will spend most of his weekend outside clearing folks drive around us. He did ours but would not take any money towards his efforts and machine - so we got a contractor. Knowing the forecast I picked up 2 beers and I'm going to make him a batch of his favorite cookies and drop them off for when he does finally get indoors. (I did have 2 beers last night - but they were counted into the day - it's a weakness so I only buy the individual cans. In the summer I buy cases of non-alcoholic beer. Beer goes straight to my hips if I don't.) I'm not keeping any cookies that I bake at all. Oh yea, the city plow is going buy now...there goes Steve again doing the drives...he really deserves something. YankandTex could I visit and enjoy your heat for awhile? Maybe we could all pop round and have an afternoon on the patio and have a group day together! Keep talking about your warmth - I need the mental pictures! Ta. Milkdud I'd like to know more about Aubrie because I'm new. What is her illness? I'd like to send positive thoughts to her and family. Shopping for kids is great - always wound up with everything in my cart for nieces and nephews. Marci be careful with that ice. Yikes. We had a horrific ice storm in 1998 - I'm scarred with fear now when ice storms hit. Bought ice grips for my footwear and always keep them with my winter gear now. Sounds like a good weekend to chill out. Yesterday I was over points but still within my bonus range so I should be okay. I will be posting often because participating in this forum helps me stay focussed on being a good girl. Besides, any excuse to hang out and chat, make new friends is wonderful. It's movie, quilting, shoveling and meal planning day for me. Hunkering down. All I see out my front window is snowbank - it's now taller than I am! Cheers, McPeg

NH Suzanne - Don't hyperventilate LOL. A ride on SP this weekend will de-stress you! I think that should be Dr.'s orders for you.

I gotta go, had some computer training this AM (my day off) and now I have a much overdue manicure - the girl is going to LOL when she gets a look at my hands.

I have to pack tonight, because tomorrow will be a busy day for me.

Raeanne, I will try to take your advice doc LOL but it ain't going to be easy. My day has been filled with rejections that I won't recognize yes when I hear it! It's been a strange month for eveyone here so I don't feel totally alone. It's hard to predict why. I hope you have a marvelous time. You certainly are getting around these days.

BJ, I need to hear from you too and get your address................give us a shout woman!!

Hi Everyone: Wow, thought I'd slept through Easter when I checked in.

Wow, so much happening in everyone's lives - trips, business's to buy - exciting times.

No news here, same old, same old. This is when I'm glad I don't own a gun, DH is driving me insane. Either the weather needs to break so he can golf, or he really has to find a job soon, or I'm sending him to my brother in Florida.

Going to my second funeral in 10 days. Seems all my old school friends Mom's are passing on. They are all in the 80-85 year bracket and it does seem to go in waves.

Terrible way to keep in touch with old friends.

Jen, good luck fitting into those pants. I'm holding out buying anything new until I make sure that this is the real thing! I was desparately in need of new clothes last summer, so if I'm a wee bit smaller, it will be great fun shopping!

Gotta run to a meeting. Tonight and tomorrow, DH and I will be busy with wakes and funeral.

I am here Maddie. I have no idea where everyone has been. Seems strange not to hear from anyone over the weekend!

I was enjoying the spring weather with Sweet Pea yesterday and boy does she have spring fever!! Her trot had a few little bucks in them as if to say WOO HOO!!!

I'm here, but I am mired in taxes!! I spent the day yesterday researching and buying a new printer and today I am doing my taxes. State is done, local is done and I am taking a break from Federal.

It is beautiful here today. I DON'T want to be indoors doing paper work all day, but I needed a break. If I can get done before lunch, I will have the rest of the day to play. (After I finish laundry, pay bills and straighten up! LOL)

I bought a Winsor Pilates tape and mat yesterday. I have been having back aches lately and someone at Curves suggested Pilates. I know my aches are from bending over little ones all day. Some days I feel like I just can't straighten up. I am hoping that Pilates helps.

My new printer is a MFP - a scanner, a copier and a printer all in one. I printed out some pictures I had taken on my digital camera and they came out great. I needed to make a copy of a receipt for a rebate and voila - I had a copy. I have to play around with scanning photos now and see how that works. I think I got a great deal for my $$$.

(((HUGS))) for all those that need them. I know I missed some important events last week, but I just don't know where the time went. I was never so glad to see Friday come. The kids were wound up, we had a sub all week for Beth and I just didn't feel up to par. I am hoping that this week gets off to a better start.

I think we all should have gone with Raeanne to Cancun!!! I could use some R&R.

Now I have to hang up a load of laundry and locate some papers for taxes.

Happy Sunday everyone!

Yesterday, we were at the funeral and repast, so I had no time to even check my e;mails.

Hope everyone is ready for Monday! I'm enjoying some sun here in 'Jersey. We finally got to take down the holiday lights off the house! Most of the neighbors were outside doing the same thing...it's finally warm enough for DH to get up on the roof!

Amy, good to see you post.

BJ, hope you are with us again soon!

Raeanne, hope you are enjoying the first of many cool drinks by the water while I'm writing this. LOL
Wish me luck...DH agreed to speak with the house painter I called. He's coming tomorrow evening...I think he's gonna agree to have it done professionally. That's not all...I'm on the computer to find the phone number of a landscaper that our neighbor just gave us. DH is biting the bullet and farming this chore out also. Happy days!!!!
