amck, I'm going to go a little out on a limb and say "yes, for what you need it's worth a try" with a couple of caveats below in 2nd paragraph. It looks particularly good for toasting a whole bunch of English muffins up at once. Another nice thing about it is that it doesn't really take up that much more space than a normal toaster oven and is only 11" deep. I had followed the previous post and was interested to learn that there are now probably better choices out there than my old Black and Decker (so I'm probably looking too). The key is whether this chef's unit really performs as it claims to. I'm a little bit concerned about it browning two levels evenly on both sides. I'm also a little uneasy about it being "open faced" and having no door (if I read the link correctly) - you sure wouldn't want to accidentally stick your hand in there. Perhaps it's something that would be better off being a little higher up and out of reach of younger guests if you have any. It sure would be helpful to see some reviews of it. I'm really interested how this turns out - keep us posted. Hi- Working on my kitchen remodel and wondering if anyone uses one of the Turbochef standalone models in their home kitchen. These are sold as commercial units. I would look into the built-in but for the design of my kitchen, one of the smaller ones would work better, and I could take it with me when I move. Thanks! Erin

We just purchased a new stand for our 52" TV. This 48" length stand is made well and roomy for the $$. It's not high end but looks like a piece of furniture, not just a stand. Though, it's not a corner, it fits in a corner comfortably. Here's the corner stand w/o 2nd shelf I just sold on Craiglist. Everything looked messy in it because you could see the cords and it didn't have doors: Here's what we replaced it with. Much cleaner looking. While our TV is a bit big for it, I don't think it looks too bad. This stand is suppose to hold up to a 46" but as you can see, it will handle larger TVs (up to 200 lbs.). It's a Tech Craft. This stand received dozens of great reviews which is why I bought it, plus the styling is modern. Circuit City sells it for $349, but you can get it at the site below for $289 and free, fast shipping. I went to CC to view it in person before buying from the linked site. Here is the deck. It’s on a steep hill. Two level. The lower deck is. Traditional hung of ledger - i.e., hangs off ledger off Cripple Wall. Front sits on beam on post Upper deck. Does not hang - no ledger. Its joists SITS on the wall plate Forward end supported on posts (shared with lower deck). Posts sit on deep piers (20-40 feet deep) The whole house sits on deep piers, i.e., pier and grade beam foundation. You can see part of the lateral brace - I hope to replace that with stainless steel cable and tension ties. Ps. The lower deck’s frame ties the structural box back to the house. Creating a firm structural box. I’m having difficulty finding a contractor who has built such a deck - i.e., I’m looking g for a referral.
