Basic Doll Dress Patterns

If anyone out there would be so kind as to let me know where I can find a few free doll dress patterns for Barbies or other 11 1/2 inch dolls I would greatly appreciate it. Whenever I do a search, all I seem to find are crochet and knitted items. I want to design dresses myself but would like to have a pattern to base from, I do not plan on copying anyones work but need the pattern to use as a creation point to begin from as I do not have any experience in doll clothes. If you have a basic pattern and would be so kind as to send it to me I would greatly appreciate it. Thank You in advance!!!!!!!
