Hi, I have my Moms old doll, cloth body and hard head (like mine),about 24" long, baby doll style. I've been trying to locate a site that carries dress patterns for her and so far have been unsuccessful. Anyone know of any? thanks

Hi ohiojudy,
I am a dollmaker-(porcelain) and especially do antique reproductions.You can probably purchase patterns from porcelain doll makers in your area.Otherwise there are a few sites-Brown House dolls is one, I recall; for more true styles-go to web-put in your search-click on images and then enter antique baby dolls-often there will be a web site connected to each picture. Hi everyone. I recently found a childhood doll of mine which I thought was lost forever. She still in ok condition despite being in the attic for 20 years. She was made by a neighbour as a gift. The neighbour has since moved on and I have no Ideas. She's stocky, firmly stuffed, possibly with wool, she used to be able to stand on her own feet ( there is some kind of cardboard in the bottom of her feet that has since warped.) She was my all time favourite toy. Can anyone out there recognise the pattern as I' d love to make another for a young relative. She did not come with the clothes she's wearing in the photo. She came in a short dress and the felt shoes pictured.
