I remember posting about this before but I think it was back in May or so, not last Halloween. I just thought you all would like to know the progress I've made on it. This is just the blueprints, so to speak, of my costume :). Mainly I wanted to see what everyone's input would be and they would share their costumes or their Halloween projects. Lynn, you are just being smart. We all know that it you don't buy things early, it will be all picked over or gone by Halloween. You've sure found some neat Halloween things. That cage is going to be a great home for your new raven! Boy, I learned something new from this post, did not even know about glitter paint! Jane, did you say it comes in a spray paint too? Yipee! So much easier than the "old fashioned" way. Your cobwebing and your big spiders look just like some I picked up at DT today. Gosh, I sure love the bargains at those stores! Yes-thanks everyone for your help. Gardengirl..I had spent 2 days trying to find a plain tag/label thingy AND a 'milker' (cow) LOL..to print and paste on a tag-then lo & behold-there appeared your link and what should appear? The tag WITH the cow on it. Thanks for helping everyone..Jodi at the KT completed my tag for me. Now I must look forward to making the cow pies! (choc-peanut butter no bake cookies...dozens of them.)

@Kswl Gasparilla is still huge, and mostly fun. There’s a Children’s Gasparilla parade a week before the main celebration. It’s popular and well attended. I’ve been going to the parade since the early 60s when the pirates shot guns (blanks) into the air and gathering the spent cartridges was an activity for the parade watchers. Thankfully that changed and guns are no longer a part of the celebrations.
