Trojan.dropper
I seem to have picked up a nasty called trojan.dropper. This happened on 11/30 I think. I have run Malwarebytes 3 times since then and the first scan had two instances of the trojan, which MWB quarantined. the second had one, which was quarantined. the third was clean. But I still have the same problem, which is pages are taking forever to load. For instance, if I click to renew on my home page, which is Google, the screen goes white and the circle in the tab just keeps going round and round and round and....... On Monday I undated AVG, but I think the problem was caused because when it restarted the computer, I didn't turn on the Zonealarm for about 30 min. I always have to do that since for some reason it doesn't do it automatically, and that is always the first thing I do, but for some reason I didn't this time. I click to exit Google and reopen and it comes back right away. This is a bigger problem with the home page, but also happens here a GardenWeb. Anyway should I go to the Landzdown forum, or could it be something else?
Win XP sp3, using Firefox. Ran Superantispyware, and only came up with an adware tracking cookie. I use Spywareblaster, Windows Defender. I always update first then run full scans. These programs seem to be working. I'm current on all Windows updates. What other info do you need? I'm not quite awake, so I'm not thinking too clearly.
