Cast Iron for Induction Question

Fay Ratta

I have several vintage cast iron pieces that I love using on my current electric cooktop. It doesn't wobble so I feel confident it will work great with my soon-to-have induction cooktop. I like the vintage ci because it is thinner and lighter than current-day Lodge.

My question is: does a slight wobble make a piece of cast iron unsuitable for induction? I still would like a certain size (#10) and ruling out any with a "slight wobble" really reduces the field of those available.

Thanks!
