I hate my new Bosch DW. It does NOT clean dishes
Comments (41)I assume that this problem was resolved since this is an old posting. However for those like myself who also had the same trouble and hated Bosch; I found a solution. The spray arms are poorly designed and the tiny holes clog over time. Unscrew the "nut" attaching each of the spray arms and use an ice pick or something small to unclog the holes along the arms. You will have to tilt the arm back and forth and shake out all the particles through the center connection hole in order to clean it out. Run water through it to be sure it is clear and shake it until there is no sound and the holes are clear. Re-attach to the machine and you will have sparkling dishes again. I cursed the darned dishwasher for weeks until I learned this!...See MoreI hate it!! Hate!! Hate! I want my old page back!!
Comments (9)I believe I had IE, but not sure which version. Now, I am not sure WHAT one is up! Right now there are 3 searches running- there are 3 'file card tabs' at the top of the page. Two of them have a small red/green/blue/yellow flag icon, the third has the 'Gardenweb' icon- the page that I am on now. Walnut.. I did not download anything that I am aware of.. If I move my curser to the top nothing happens- there is a 'wrench' on the far right, but when I click on it, it opens a list that has 'Google Chrome' near the bottom, yet the icon on the far left of the page (this page), is the 'Yahoo' icon. I don't even have a way to open my 'favorites' now. Did IE7 have favorites/back/forward arrows, file/edit/view/tools/help in the upper left hand corner?? I am wondering if I am in 'Google Chrome' or IE9 by some chance? How do I check which browser I am set to go to auto? Tx...See MoreHelp! I hate my new flooring! Should I tear it out?
Comments (25)I think a big part of the problem is that the flooring does not go with that vanity - at all. If you like the flooring, ditch the vanity for something in a grey or black tone. I don't dislike the flooring, but I hate it with that vanity. If you dislike the flooring, get rid of it. I spent a fortune on dichroic glass tile I hate on my kitchen backsplash, and wish I had torn it out and replaced it the first time I saw it installed....See MoreI hate my new backsplash! Help with possible paint color?
Comments (23)If you want to try to save the backsplash before changing it, you could try painting the walls the same white as the cabinets. If possible, paint the ceiling also. Paint would eliminate one if not two warm tones that the tile is currently competing with. From there you could also try changing out your hardware (fairly easy and inexpensive). If you have stainless appliances, go with a silver color, which will provide another gray tone; or else brushed brass/gold, which would work well if you can't change the ceiling color. Mixed metals in the kitchen are in right now so you don't have to worry about the sink faucet :) white walls and ceiling, silver hardware white wall, original ceiling, gold/brushed brass hardware...See Morea2gemini
