On my old computer ( windows XP ) I had no trouble accessing my work web site. Since I have been using the new computer( Windows 7, IE 8 ), I have not been able to access.......very frustrating.

I keep getting a message stating "Cannot create BCC Client.ClientHelper Error description= "automation CAB not installed correctly.server cant create object"

I need to access this program, and before I try their tech support (that leaves one on hold for hours) I thought I'd bring it up here.

have you tried using firefox or a different browser? It is always best to have at least one other browser on a pc in case IE fails so you can still access online, that would be my first thing to try. Then you can rule out if it is a problem with IE

Your going to have to call the tech desk. A little bit of reading indicates that whatever software your company is using might not be compatible with IE8.

Diane, I am going to tell you this for free, normally I charge for this service when I use to be a civie :-) Uninstall Norton from your machine ASAP, it's nothing but a bloated piece of you know what. Do this by going to start...control panel...add/remove programs and remove every sign and trace of it from your puter. Once you are done that, google AVG antivirus, the free version. Download and install that, it works a lot better. There you have it

It just means that there are 9 invalid active x control paths in your registry that point to nowhere. Probably next time you use Internet Explorer they are added again since IE uses Active X. No big deal, any registry cleaner will find invalid active x paths everytime you clean the registry.

I have Vista Home premium edition (64) bit. I use, Malwarebytes, superspyware, spyware blaster and Avast. The game is Jewel Quest from IWin game site. The game is jerky in it's movements and because they recommend the plug in and I can't download it,I am assuming that maybe the problem. I have uninstalled jewel quest and re-installed once, didn't help.

get rid of it most people dont need a download manager unless very slow connection doing lots of large downloads. Then they might have reconnect value is all.

Thank you.They will only work with IE, raven. I think you may be correct,mike, and I called them this afternoon.....still waitring for the call back.

A LOT of companies will only support one browser (typically IE). In some cases, only Windows as well. Makes for cheaper tech support.

Maybe you need an auto-configuration script to get through the firewall...just a thought.
