Wolf DF366 vs. KitchenAid KDRU767VSS (36-inch dual-fuel ranges)

My wife and I are about to remodel our kitchen and can't quite settle on which 36" pro-style, 6-burner, dual-fuel range we'd like. We have narrowed it down to the Wolf and the KitchenAid.

Wolf DF366 -- we love the look, but Consumer Reports doesn't really review it, and we've read conflicting reports on its reliability. Other than that, it seems awesome. Sadly, the price we're seeing in our area is about $8600.

KitchenAid KDRU767VSS -- we don't love the look as much as the Wolf, but Consumer Reports rates this range highly. We're a bit concerned about the oven/timer display panel being exposed to splattering from the cooktop. Looks like we could get this for about $6200.

Is the Wolf worth the extra $2k+? Are our concerns about the Wolf's reliability warranted? Are our concerns about the KitchenAid's display panel location warranted? Is there anything else we should consider when making this decision?

Thanks so much in advance!
