You do not program the wall control. Make sure the wires are still connected. The LED should be on. There is always the chance that it may have just quit on you.

Logmein appears to be a version of VNC, an excellent remote control program originally created by Olivetti Research (now part of AT&T). If you google VNC, you'll find a lot of different flavors of VNC. Here is a chart comparing different remote desktop software. I used VNC around 2000 or 2001 and was impressed with it at the time. If I remember correctly, you can use it cross platform (you don't need to do that, but it's possible to use a PC to control a Mac or Linux computer and vice versa). I think TightVNC saves a lot on bandwidth. When you ask if they're safe, it depends on what you mean. If by safe, you mean that it's not virus infected or spyware, the answer is yes. If you're asking if the traffic is encrypted, the answer is no. You can either use an SSH tunnel (but if you didn't know that already, you don't want to go that route) or use Ultra VNC.

I too have been having programming problems. I am trying to program the control built into my car. I tried using the learn button. Didn't work. My note about the Premium Control Console says it "Can be used to program the opener to accept additional remotes." It doesn't say how. Does anyone know? Thanks, Eddie

Don, the model number is correct. By the way, the digital receiver model number is 139.245612. This is an older model opener, at the back of the unit their is a red square button but no LED light ... The opener works fine and I still have one fully functioning remote control to work with. I am trying only to program an identical new 2nd remote control (Craftsman Model No. 139.18759) so that my wife could also have the benefit of using the garage for direct access to our house from the garage. We only moved into this house about one month ago and the previous owner has no clue about where the owner's manual for the opener is. I really appreciate your help in answering my questions. Peter
