My Bluestar goes POOF

smyles

I installed my RCS 30" range and have had it in place for about two weeks.

Issues/questions

When I light the broiler, the igniter glows red, the gas turns on, but the gas is on for what seems like way to long, then I get a big POOF, and I mean big. You see and feel it. I've been worried about using/lighting it now. Anyone else have this experience?

Also, when I turn a burner on, all four of the igniters click. Is that normal?

Third, we smell a small gas leak and I'm fairly certain it's not in the wall or line. I can deal with that.

But the amount of gas needed to ignite the infrared is scary

Maybe I should call BS, but any feedback would be appreciated.

The only other concern is how hot the front of the oven gets. Definitely keep small kids away when using.

Otherwise, I really do like the stove burners. And the oven is big and seems to hold it's heat well.

I hope I can adjust the infrared igniter in the oven, then I'll be happy.
