High end so called "smart televisions" have a WiFi adapter built in. The lower end ones require a separate adapter but in this case it sounds like LG is including it. That should be all you need to connect to your WiFi network. If you can do it, a wired connection is almost always faster and more reliable.

I'm assuming the TV has some kind of Internet browser and perhaps a YouTube "app". Hulu Plus is a paid subscription, like Netflix. You may be able to access regular Hulu via the TV's browser. Don't know about Facebook.

Thanks for the input. I love this concept but I think I might wait til it's more mainstream. Prices will probably come down and the technology will be better.
