Comcast mess

Is anyone else having trouble with Comcast's new email so-called SmartZone? I have been having problems for several weeks with it refusing to recognize my password and let me access my Outlook Express email or the website.

Now it is sending some important emails to spam. I have been in touch with them and they say their engineers are working on it but it's driving me nuts and wasting a ton of my time.

Thanks for the link but it is the standard Comcast help page which I had already consulted. SmartZone is being rolled out gradually and causing problems for many. Mine seems to have been fixed by them--fingers crossed--but others may be next when it comes to a cable modem near you!

You sure should be able to tell if the starter shaft is turning in the drive by inspecting the drive. According to parts, the nylon gear is the one. The IPL for that build shows the replaceable aluminum gear. So if you replace the whole drive- hopefully you are good to go and the starter cranks the engine. If your not good to go and the engine is indeed spinning freely, so no damage from running hot and no drag on the PTO end - then it is likely the starter is tired. About the only exceptions tend to be oil burners w/ lots of carbon under the head or issues with power & ground to the starter. To test the starter, it takes a known good battery and good jumper cables. Disconnect the ground from the battery if it is installed in the tractor. + bat to the lug on the starter. - battery momentarily touching the side of the starter. Know it will spark. If it cranks, look at the cabling. If t doesn't it is typically a starter.

Have you found anyone yet? Established Kudzu requires removal of the large Tubers it produces to keep it from returning. This sometimes requires a bit of digging and with many underground utilities a dig permit and utilities location may be required, if it's in the front of your home. This permit is provided free by the utilities companies engineering group upon telephone request. Without it, any damage to utilities(even your own cable tv line if you're with Comcast) could cost you quite a bit of money. I am always in the Buckhead area and would be happy to look at it for you. I have lots of guys that work for me that look for weekend work like this.

I have Comcast and have not heard of this smartzone.... Maybe it will solve one of my problems with their email but most likely it is like anything else and I won't like it at first because I am not big on change. I still don't like their home page change because I can't personalize it like I could the last and that has been around a year now that they changed that. I use their email site for checking mine and I leave that tab open always.. I get very annoyed that I have to sign in every couple hours when I have checked the box for remembering me on this computer.. Why have that check box when it doesn't keep you signed in.. Arg! I would also like to have a notifier in my task bar to let me know I have new mail. I asked about it with them and they said they don't have one. I tried using Incredimail for a while just for the notifier but found it annoying to have 2 email programs running. Oh well.. I have ranted on long enough.. thanks for listening
