Electrolux all-fridge owners, any noise?

I have purchased Electrolux all-fridge refrigerator E32AR75FPS. It is usually used in side-by-side setting with comparable all-freezer counterpart. The main feature I wanted in the fridge is plenty of space, counter depth and not astronomical price tag. So got all of that, and pleased with layout, quality and features (never used ice maker in my life).

HOWEVER, there is catch: it is noisy as hell! My 35-something old Kenmore-cheapo is terribly noisy, and I hated it - I had to turn up the volume of my TV every time it started the compressor. (Open space is nice and all, but watch out for noise)

This Electrolux actually TOPS my old Kenmore, which I never thought possible. It is even more annoying, as it has both low and high frequency noise coupled with kind of ringing vibrating noise, that even turning up volume on TV is not enough to drown it.

Anybody else having noise issues? Maybe I'm to report this to Electrolux?

I think you have a problem. We have 2 of the Electrolux all-fridges and don't find them to be noisy at all. I hope you get this taken care of!

No problem here either. I have had mine about 5 months and could be happier except for the fact that I HATE the inside layout. Never got to see one in person before I bought. Couldnt find a showroom that carried them. Thought I would have more room. Love the freezer..not thrilled with fridge. No temp problems like others have mentioned either

Antss - I love that saying. Especially considering some of the sales people I have met with over the past few months I sometimes wonder which end of the horse I am speaking to! I don't think you can change the handles (I'm pretty sure I asked my appliance dealer about that several months ago), but mine aren't here yet, so I can't double check. There are a couple things they could've designed more intelligently (for sales sake) on these units. They have to be right next to each other in order for the ice maker to work, since the water goes into the fridge, then out to the ice maker in the freezer! Crazy. So many people like to 'bookend' all-fridge and freezer units, and this will foul them up. The handle changing thing would be nice, too. I found this problem with lots of fridges.

These were in the running for me but the problem was the depth and the side clearance requirements. If that isn't an issue for you, I think for the money they are good little units. We have mostly danby units where I work, not this exact model however... they've been in at least 5 years now. I don't know of any that have had problems, the interior lighting is good, glass shelves, decent crispers. If they'd have fit I would have seriously considered at least the all fridge.
