KitchenAid Products: Never Again

For the fifth time in 3 years, I need service on my KitchenAid icemaker. I've been on the phone 4 times today. None of the so-called service entities recommended by KA Customer Service are available or can service my particular appliance. I have been told too booked up, not that particular KA appliance, only work on what they sell, no longer service KA, etc., you name it. If this experience had been limited to my icemaker, I would call it a fluke. However, I have had problems with my coffee maker, coffee grinder, and 2 dishwashers (I no longer have them). The only KA appliance I like is my 20 year old mixer. Oh, yes, I loved my 20 year old dishwasher twenty-seven years ago (alas, I moved). Don't make 'em like they used to. I recommend avoiding KA products!
