My #1 favorite is black gospel. Anyone else familiar w/ Gospel at Colonus? I haven't heard kd lang for a few years now, but she had one of the best voices around, when you're talking pure vocal talent. Did anyone see her on the Grammys awhile back when she did Roy Orbison's "Crying"? Blew the roof off. As for Brokeback (Keith, rest in peace), my theory - a lot of straight guys are comforted by Queer Eye, etc. and uneasy about Brokeback because (shudder) in the movie, YOU CAN'T TELL BY LOOKING if a guy's gay. If that guy's gay and looks like a "regular" guy, and EYE look like a regular guy..... well, we gotta keep that trash away from the young people. :) DH is in an original heavy rock/light metal band and also in a rock cover band, so I hear loads of that music and like lots of it. qylliam - The Chieftans - are you talking about the Irish group? I got to hear them one time in concert. They were great. Anyone else familiar w/ Sweet Honey in the Rock? A capella group that does original music, black gospel, reggae, etc. Arthur, many of the band names are new to me, too. What genre is Cake? "Classic" country is terrific - Dolly Parton, Emmylou Harris, Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline - rarely the crossover stuff. Some bluegrass. Shady Character - who does Bollywood *style*? This shows adding perlite increases air porosity in peatmoss. This is a statment you made:"is it going to increase aeration? - NO, drainage" So then hp has no more drainage then bx? It has a little? Peatmoss is not as good as bark but does that to say we now should treat it like pudding? The partical size of peatmoss is quite large. The fact is you said adding perlite will not increase air but it does, just not as dramatically as when you add it to pine fines... I understand why you compaired peat to pudding and I know you used it as a exaggeration. I know you are trying to make a point about why peat really is not the same as bark. I do understand using little or no fine particals in a mix is ideal. I understand peat just fills in around perlite, where bark creats the macro pours like you said. It just seemed like you said adding perlite to peat does nothing when it does because I worked with both HP and BX before, thats all. Does HP have Higher Porosity because it has more dry spots when wet from the perlite? That really is it I would think.

Esther_opal, or anyone else who reads this and might be able to answer...could you please tell me, what are the two hostas at the top of your first pic from 6/3/08? The one on the top left is what my June looks like with more shade, and the one on the bottom right is what my June looks like in more sun, but the one I like the most is the one that is on the top right of your pic. That blue-gray smokiness isn't in my Junes, and yet a lot of you have those gorgeous Junes that I can't seem to get regardless of the amount of sun. Mine are mature divisions of the same plant so I doubt it's an age issue thing. Could it be an individual plant variation then, or is there another sport of June or Halcyon (perhaps Paradise Joyce) that I'm drooling over?? Many thanks...

All you need to do is Run 1 Anti Virus program--Keep it updated. Run 1 firewall. Windows Defender is nice for spyware. Spyware blaster is a great addition to the computer it actually prevents malware all you need to do on this program is update once a week. Another must have is a program called Web of trust (WOT) Spybots immunization feature is also a way to prevent malware. Most important install all windows critical updates always from windows up date. And that goes for all programs keep them updated. There are aslo to cleaning programs you can run once a week 1 is called Ccleaner, and the other is Atf. And watch what you download your biggest protection is between your shoulders. And it's true no matter how much security you have you are still are at risk to infections, following the above guide lines will certainly reduce the risk...
