Viking induction rangetop..anyone have one?
Comments (2)I have the 36" Hybrid cooktop and love it. I was hooked on the knobs too. Not having tried any others, I can't give you a comparison. However, I don't think I would go with anything else. I've looked at the others, and was impressed with GE's look. But, I was impressed by info from this forum on the Viking and the fact that it doesn't share power, and took the plunge. I was doing that with my old cooktop because it was broken. So at the time, I wasn't hearing any power sharing. Now I don't think it would matter as much to me. I'm still glad I went with the Viking. Only regret - didn't get full induction. I wish I had spent the extra to get it. The induction eyes are so much easier to keep clean. The noise that all inductions have doesn't really bother me. In fact, it's almost good to have since the light doesn't come on like for the other eyes. The light hmmmm let's me know it's working. Sometimes I may take the pan off the eye because I'm doing something else (like cutting up veggies or something)and after awhile it cuts off. Without the hmmm, I wouldn't know. But as I said, it isn't bad, to me, at all. I know that Viking's CS is horrid, but hopefully I won't have to go that route. My warranty is through my dealer - I just found out that it is GE. Not sure I like that, but oh well, that's what I have. Hope this gives a little perspective...See MoreAnyone have new F&P Dishwasher Drawers DD24DCX6 ?

Comments (2)That's the fill cap that you are looking at. Turn it to the other triangle (not at 12 o'clock) and pull it out. Pour the rinse agent in on top of the arrow below with the numbers on it and remember to replace the cap. The following is from the user manual: To fill the dispenser, open the cap and pour the rinse agent into the dispenser up to the knob for dosage setting. The dispenser will hold approximately four ounces of liquid rinse agent. Adjusting the Dosage of Rinse Agent: The rinse agent dosage is set by the manufacturer and is dispensed automatically into the final rinse. If necessary, the rinse agent dosage can be adjusted by inserting a screwdriver inside the filler hole where the adjustment device is set on "3." It is recommended that the dial be adjusted only one number at a time. Comments (1)The general consensus on here has been to avoid Viking as the products have generally had a lot of problems and the service has not been great. I briefly looked at the specs of this fridge and it looks like it only has a single compressor...does it have dual evaporators. Dual compressor/evaporators is probably the biggest factor in improved food preservation. I guess it all boils down to the deal you are getting. If it was half price or something crazy like that I would think about it. A great deal out there is the new Kitchenaid 42 inch french door which can be had for below $7000. I would also look at the kitchenaid side by sides over this Viking (those do not have dual evaporators/compressors either)....See Moremkiv808
