I need help and even though i have not been here in sometime this is the place i thought of first off. I have gotten good help here before. My problem is when i am typing all at once it will stop and i can keep on typing but nothing shows up. then i stop and wait and eventually it will start up and catch up again. In the meantime i will get the timer but nothing is uploading. I have checked to see if my security or anything else is downloading but all is good. I have days and times set for my reg cleaner and when it does a check it does nothing to slow me down.

I sure hope u can help with this as it is so frustrating. It seems to be in Facebook and my email. Thanks so much for any suggestions.

I have broadband internet connection if that helps out.

Hi puffysmom,
I am having similar (but not quite as bad problems)------What browser are you using?..... mine started after the most recent update of Firefox!
Am really interested in any answers you may get...

Your PC is running slowly. There may be a process that is using a lot of memory or a lot of the CPU, so it can't keep up with you. You can check to see what is using the most CPU and memory by pressing CTL-ALT-DEL and choosing task manager. In task manager, choose the Processes tab. You can sort the columns by clicking the header.

If you open a lot of tabs and keep them open, this is often a cause, especially if one or more of the tabs has video.

Ooo, thank you everyone. Lots to chew on here! I'm off to research! I don't think I have a horrible BS problem here. I've tested a Zephrini, DA's The Dark Lady, and the HP Baron Girod de l'Ain and they all did fine with some BS but nothing that's knocked them back. Especially last year when I started watering more. Amazing what water will do (rolling eyes at myself). Japanese beetles are a HUGE problem though so I have to bear that in mind. We're chopping our JP magnet plum tree down this year so maybe that'll make a difference. I used to have a list of longer blooming types but it was on my other computer that died. In case anyone is thinking this question sounds familiar, lol. Anyway, again, thanks!

Usually, no, but it does happen. Depends on a number of factors like weather, plant injury, pruning done when, timing on the pollination, and multiple other stress factors that can affect the circulatory system of the plant. ;) A few "first fruit" never seem to ripen. Dave

Well, it ain't over, and these people are turning out to be PITAs. They had until today to remove their home inspection and financing conditions. They didn't want to hire a real home inspector, so they had my agent do some questionnaire thing about any known problems... which we did earlier this week. They wanted to do an walk-through from 1:30 - 2:30 today with their realtor, to do their own 'inspection'. No problem. My realtor made a point of being there during that time. I got home at 2:30 and they were still there but just leaving. There's also a home inspector there. Okay. My realtor calls me in while they hang outside, and goes over a few minor things that need fixing. The screen on the basement window had a little tear I didn't know was there. No biggie. A hinge needed on the door from the garage, per bylaw. No problem. And - apparently there are 3 VERY superficial cracks in the foundation. The kind you get from the foundation settling. You'd probably be able to find at least a few in any house you looked at. They're not causing any structural or leaking problems. They know it, we know it, and the inspector knows it. But, they took the opportunity to try to get us to knock $5K off our price. There is also a couple VERY small chips in the grout in the main bathroom, and they wanted that all re-done. Our realtor told them to blow it out their ass (not in those words). He told their realtor that not another penny was coming off the house, so if they want to walk - do it now and stop wasting our time.. and that we'd go back to our first buyers that they bumped out. He grudgingly crossed those last 2 items off the list. The house is 12 years old - give me a break. We're building a brand new home, and our site superintendent told us to EXPECT a few foundation cracks from settling. They'd come back 48 month later and assess if they were worth fixing or not. Anyway, these people still have to sign the release for the financing and home inspection conditions.. and I haven't got word that they've done that yet, so we'll see. They're also wanting an August 28 closing which means if they're removing their financing conditions that means they've gotten approved to bridge, but they're going to drag out the house sale condition until their August 10 cutoff date JUST FOR THE FUN OF IT. ugh.....

My wife asked me what "refulgent" meant - she'd found it in a magazine article. I was able to tell her that it turns up in a song in the Mikado, but I didn't know what it meant. So we looked it up - it means "shining, brilliant or radiant" - and it's marked in my dictionary as "Literary". I've just looked up the G&S - I was actually wrong! you mentioned a reg cleaner are your meaning a registry cleaner? if so I highly caution you on that, I personally urge not using them, they are not needed and can cause serious harm when not used by those fully versed in registry.

If you have not updated and run a full scan using malwarebytes then I would do that to make sure you do not have malware on the pc running and slowing you down. Install malwarebytes free, update it before using it each time then run full scan and allow it to clean what it finds, usually have to reboot.

since you mentioned facebook and it is notorious for infections I would definitely run malwarebytes regularly and also one of the online scans.

Make sure your windows updates have all been done up to date and so has your antivirus updated.

Yes I am using Foxfire. I like to play games at a certain web site and it works better than with IE.
Yes i am using a registery cleaner. I figured it would be safe to use as long as i dont do anything to the registry. It is not a free one. I dont know if that makes a difference or not.
Sometimes i have more than one tab but most times that is not the case when this happens. I was thinking it happened at all sites but seems it is mostly when i use yahoo email and facebook.

Thanks all. I will check into all your suggestions. Will let u know if i find out what the problem is. I can always close the registry so it does not do anything and check the CPU and maybe I should use IE for a while. glad i asked you all as i never thought of any of these suggestions.

What are you doing with the registry cleaner if you're not doing anything to the registry? The only thing a registry cleaner is used for is the registry.

The difference between a free registry cleaner and one you pay for is that the free one may damage your registry, but at least you're not out any money. The one you pay for will charge you for the damage it wants to do.
