Your title caught my eye, and thats just how I felt last night when I read a post titled Lasagna gardening, I could not believe my eyes that with this method you dont have to labor by diging thousands of holes. Like you said you cant wait to read all the forums, just dont read the front pages go thur all the pages, it was on the back pages where I found, that wonderful article about Lasagna gardening. I have all the orchids together assigned a number. The number gets an * in front if it is gone for any reason and I don't reuse the number. I have a column for a species/hybrid indicator. The genus, the species, the whole tag contents, flower picture ID, plant picture ID, OrchidSpecies.com page ID, a collection/excess/for-sale indicator and what it is potted in. All that is sliced and diced and sorted with notes, which are separate files, depending on if the relate to the species or the specific plant. Printed lists are: one line per species (I take to buying opportunities so I don't get more), plants that need a flower picture, plants that need a plant picture. And of course the web plant list and individual plant web pages. I am still filling in the pictures. I had a lot of plants before I did the inventory, but every new plant now gets a picture. The flower pictures are only of that plant, not somebody elses plant, so I have to wait for a bloom for that.

Wow Stephania, that is one huge, beautiful, spiky bugger! Well done! But how are you going to get a ladder in there amongst all those plants at ground level, to get to the flowers for pollinating? - and still no buds at 2 metres high! Major garden surgery and reallocation of plants? Do you wear a spike-resistant body armour when attempting these feats? I admire your dedication - from a distance! Good luck with the pollinating. okay, okay okay! I'm an I D I O T ! lol.. I called office depot and they said they had them. Well, I've spent 1/2 hour THREE TIMES looking around for them. They are NOT with the copier paper! I have been spending my time looking around all the "specialty papers".. glossy photo paper, glossy card stock.. etc.. it is with overhead projectors! AACCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKK! lol.. thanks! thank you Arsty! lol I went to office depot and bought there brand as it is WAY cheaper! lol....
