Favorite Granites for beige tiled bathroom

Hi All-

Now I must choose a granite. My tile is Ravello Beige and my tub and toilet is white. Faucets are brushed nickel. The walls will be painted a light khaki-green-beige. My vanity will be stained a medium brown. The star of the show in my 9 x 7 bathroom on my 31 inch vanity will be the granite. I was liking the Kashmir Gold and St. Cecilia's but wanted something with more brown and golds and maybe a little black. I think the two I mentioned may be too light. Any suggestions. This forum has been my friend throughout this process. My bathroom is going to be so nice how am I going to live w/the rest of my abode? LOL I need to hit the lottery!

Have you seen Santa Cecelia Gold?

Pictured below is Golden Fantasy which also seems to meet your criteria.

White and blue is such a fresh looking combination in the bathroom .... In that case, here's another one for you. It's got a carrera floor, (honed center with polished border), but the walls are Dal Rittenhouse subways with denim rope trim and the floor stripe, accents, tubdeck and vanity top are blue pearl: I take it you did those bathrooms, very nice work btw, but do you need permission to post the pictures of other peoples bathrooms? Quite honestly, I've never had a problem with it from anyone. I've always made it clear to every customer that I do alot on line helping people and showing them examples of what to do and how to do it, and I've yet to run across anyone who responded negatively. However, even before I got on line, I took pics for my portfolio, and the only time I had any kind of a problem was from an architect who saw me taking pictures of a 42 foot starburst design I did at a mall, and he threatened to sue me if I didn't hand him that film right then. I told him it wasn't his design I was taking picures of. It was my workmanship. if he wanted to take me to court, that was his perogative. But he might want to think twice about touching my camera. Nothing ever came of it. in the pictures labeled "Linen and light gray ceramic", do you know the brand and name of the the 6 x 12 decorative tile on the floor? Anne, unfortunately, all I can tell you is it came from Dal. I don't even remember what series it was. That was 4 or 5 years ago.

We used Blue Pearl in our kids bath and we love it. The bath is small, only 5 x 7, and I wanted to go light in there. I fell in love the color and how alive it is; the man who helped us at the granite yard said it was a great choice as blue pearl will stand up to just about anything you can throw at it without having to seal it all the time. It's surviving my 3 kids and all their abuse. It is hard to photograph because of the size, but here's two pics; one of the white vanity with blue pearl top and one of the shower which has lighter tiles with blue pearl shower shelves and black marble accent tiles. I love that backsplash tile; it is gorgeous! Chrome fixtures look great with blue pearl; they seem to reflect off each other. Have you brought a piece into your space? Just wait till you see it in the light of your bathroom!

My favorites are: Heath Ceramics Walker Zanger Ann Sacks Waterworks Artistic Tile & New Ravenna are short on plain looks, but long on fabulous ones. It may be good to check on Pottery Barn and Restoration Hardware for nice bathroom inspiration too. My favorite bathroom company just came to the US from the UK- not much in the way of tile, but totally gorgeous bathroom- Drummond's.

Thank you again to all the people who commented on this post! I wanted to share the "after" picture. I chose Mindful Gray by SW. I tried so many colors, and many grays, and this seemed to work the best. I moved the light fixture higher on the wall and bought a new, larger medicine cabinet from Pottery Barn (I had a gift card and put it to good use). I also installed 2 high hat ceiling lights. I'm very happy with the outcome....overall its not perfect but definitely better than where I started without spending more than a few hundred dollars.

I will have a beige tiled bathroom, with a black vanity and I picked New Venetian Gold. I liked the variety of colors, especially the wine color, and it certainly helped that it was a Level 1 granite since I blew my budget in the kitchen and my girls' bathroom!

We have New Venetian Gold in the kitchen and Giallo Ornamental in one bathroom and they both are great with beige and brushed nickel. :)

I shocked myself and picked a dark granite- its similar to verde butterfly - dark cabinets,dal salerno tiles- chrome fixtures and white tub/toilet etc and it really looks great. Just throwing that option out there to confuse you.

I love all of your suggestions especially the New Venetian Gold! I have chosen a beautiful Ubatuba black w/gold and brown specks. It was very pretty and I hope it will be the star of the bath. I wish I could post pics. Is there an easy way?
